You’ll need key prices from day of cash transfer and that’ll be the average of sold key transactions of whatever cash payment method they used (which you did not provide). The cash picture doesn’t show any indication of which website platform, for example paypal, zelle, etc. You can’t just use refined metal lol that’s also not reflective of the cash value on the day of cash transfer.

Again, you need key prices from day of cash trade, because key prices fluctuate every single day. Your using of backpack price doesn’t reflect that, as the backpack key price doesn’t show the real cash value of each day’s key price, and you still didn’t provide which payment method they used, for all we know this could have been crypto which is not useable. So you’ll need to provide proof on that first.
no i dont need key prices from day of cash trade. it can be ~1week before/after trade.
price mods will deal with it and they will say if any mistake here and ill fix it later. you not price mod/skilled suggester so your words mean nothing to me
Not sure why you’re referencing the last suggestion as successful when it was closed by mods “Key prices must be derived empirically; $1.8 appears to be pulled from thin air.” for the a similar situation you are providing.
Matter a fact the last suggestion which you reference also has example of how to get cash value as the mods posted (https://backpack.tf/suggestion/620b11a020ab1643be744613) as example, you can see they used cash price from day of sale. Again, key prices fluctuate daily, and can have dramatic dips or rises day to day. I’ve been cash trading keys for a while now to know this very well, as I have over $500,000 in key cash trades in my backpack rep.
We encourage suggestors to cast a wider net of key prices than a single day precisely for that reason- they fluctuate slightly day by day. This eliminates outlier days where keys spike high or dip low muddying our data. You'll even see in the previous suggestion for this honcho that I reference a key mini from the spellbound fez suggestion which took key prices from varying platform and only slightly varying dates. The reason we accept key minis from different platforms is the same reason we encourage not taking key prices on a single day: outlier data from a single platform that may be higher or lower than others on any given day.
In addition to the statistical aspect, I'm not sure it's practical to find key sales by the exact day. We would have to simply discard sales that occur on a day where key sales cannot be tracked. There also seems to be some confusion in your comment about the refined suggestion used as a key mini. The refined suggestion contains several cash sales of keys from close to the day of the honcho sale. All the suggestor did was average the key sales from around the time of the sale.
