For a suggestion you need to provide proof of trades happening at this price
I don’t know if it suffices, but I now added the image with the trade I just did for 1.11 ref and included the classfields screenshot from backpack.tf. Also as I understand the classfields are automatically included in the suggestion, right?
They are, however buy/sell orders are not considered "proof" of a suggestion. You need to show sales, not someone selling at said price.
That's already good, however it still indicates that 1-1.33 ref comes from nowhere
feel free to re-suggest under this page instead with valid sales at the suggested price range
“Show rules” section on how to provide evidence for the prices is a bit outdated. tf2outpost and gladiator are shut down. “Rules for non-unusual suggestions” say that you can see sales in backpack.tf classfields, but I dont know how to see the actual trades. Can someone provide some practical advice on how to see the trades of items?
Before gladiator.tf shut down it was pretty easy to get your info from there, now I honestly don’t know how to do it for more ubiquitous items
I agree. It may be best to price it on SCM or something.
cash trading and the like isn't good for these bottom-of-the-barrel sort of crates because the of the minimum sell price. if the markets allowed it, these would definitely sell for less than a penny (usd)
Yeah that's fair.
you can go to the sellers' backpacks and see if they sold any using compare links, same for buyers
besides what's been said here, you can try the tf2autobot discord
I recommend looking at the most recent suggestion on keys, that evidence might be a good reference.
you can check sales via scm (sale price / key price on scm) x ref value of key
marketplace can be used as well in a similar way (sale price / key price on marketplace) x ref value of key
viewing sellers/buyers compares within the past few days to see if they sold any or bought any whilst their listing has been up
and then determining any outliers based on buyers/sellers
feel free to re-suggest taking this into consideration and make sure to use the numbered stats page that I linked above. there are currently 4 pages of sellers in classies at 1 ref or lower so 1.33 is going to be high here
Hey just for future suggestions, just remember only showing trades you participated in will lower the credibility of the evidence, for example, I bought a sharp dresser for 15 refined because I was feeling generous. That doesn’t automatically make it worth 15 refined, it’s still worth 3 refined.
I suggest going to a discord server or the Backpack.tf forums to get advice on pricing from the pros.
This case is being sold and bought at about this price in the past 7 days
