I gathered sales of Deepsea Rave Taunt: Conga from different sites, such as Marketplace.tf, Backpack.tf and the Steam Community Market (SCM), so I grouped them by channels below.
Marketplace.tf sales
I'm considering the Mann Co. Supply Crate Key Median price of the same day the unusual was sold at Marketplace.tf. You can check TF2 key Sales Stats HERE.
Sale 1
07/29/23. I bought it for 40 USD, the key price of that day in Marketplace was 1.95 USD, 40/1.95 ~ 20.5 keys. Proof of my purchase (screenshot)
Sale 2
08/20/23. 1 sold for 59.99, the key price of that day in Marketplace was 2 USD, 59.99/2 ~ 30 keys. Deepsea Rave Taunt: Conga Sales Stats
Sale 3
08/26/23. 1 sold for 59.99, the key price of that day in Marketplace was 2 USD, 59.99/2 ~ 30 keys. Deepsea Rave Taunt: Conga Sales Stats
Backpack.tf sales
Sale 4
08/06/23. 1 sold for 30 keys pure. Proof (screenshots)
Sale 5
08/17/23. 1 sold for 18 keys pure. Proof (screenshots)
Note: the seller was from Poland, so the screenshots he shared me are not in english. It seems "głębinowa potáncówka" means Deepsea Rave.
SCM sales
I'm considering the Mann Co. Supply Crate Key average price of the same date and hour the unusual was sold at SCM. You can check TF2 key listings HERE.
Note: I'm from Chile so my currency is Chilean pesos (CLP), if the sold price in CLP it's not the same, it's because currency exchange fluctuates everyday.
Sale 6
08/04/23 2PM. 1 sold for 55 euro (seller's currency) ~ 59.01 USD, key price was 2.25 USD, 59.01/2.25 ~ 26.2 keys. Proof (screenshots)
Sale 7
08/10/23 2PM. 1 sold for 73.35 USD (seller's currency), key price was 2.23 USD, 73.35/2.23 ~ 32.9 keys. Proof (screenshots)
Note: 08/10/23 2PM there were 2 sales of Unusual Taunt: Conga, 1 of those sales was this unusual effect (Deepsea Rave), the other unknown. Since there were 2 sales during the same hour, the graph is only taking the average price.
Sale 8
08/13/23 12AM. 1 sold for 55 USD (seller's currency), key price was 2.20 USD, 55/2.20 = 25 keys. Proof (screenshots)
Sale 9*
08/27/23 5PM. 1 sold for 46 USD (seller's currency), key price was 2.20 USD, 46/2.20 = 20.9 keys. Proof (screenshots)
Note: I'm assuming the seller changed it's original price, from 40.2 USD to 46 USD, can't tell since it disappeared from the SCM in less than 1 day.
Sale 10
08/27/23 7PM. 1 sold for 60 euro (seller's currency) ~ 64.61 USD, key price was 2.19 USD, 64.61/2.19 = 29.5 keys. Proof (screenshots)
New price suggestion
The key prices of the 10 sales from above in ascending order are:
- 18
- 20.5
- 20.9
- 25
- 26.2
- 29.5
- 30
- 30
- 30
- 32.9
For a more accurate price range, I'm considering 18, 20.5, 20.9 and 32.9 keys sales as outliers, so for this new price suggestion I'll take a low value of 25 keys and a high value of 30.
Let me know what you think.
I was checking like 1 time per day listings of the Deepsea Rave Taunt: Conga in the SCM, every time there was a listing I took a screenshot, then when I saw the listing wasn't available, it either got sold (I know that thanks to the profile image of the seller and his sell price) or the seller removed it from the SCM, I matched the sell price from the graph with the listing I had. That's how I was able to track those 5 sales.
