I shouldn't have to and will not consent to provide evidence of my private transactions just because you are artificially trying to inflate the price of an item. Your opinion on the matter is irrelevant. The precedent you cited is also incorrect because there was evidence provided of the other sale in the previous suggestion (https://next.backpack.tf/suggestions/56eac855b98d88ba5f75a05e). You need proof of an established price range to post a suggestion. This suggestion will be closed and I strongly suggest you stop soliciting me for private information of my business dealings.

My sincerest apologies HarryG, definitely wasn't trying to do anything but update a price. I had no intentions of artificially inflating a price, just simply putting what I paid. Aren't any of the prices within here based upon what someone is willing to pay for a given item? Regardless, I would still prefer a moderator to tell me that it should be closed. I find it hard to believe that a price shan't be updated solely on the idea that any previous seller can gatekeep the ability to update something. Again, I apologize if my inquiry insulted you in any way, or appeared to have malintent. I meant it in a harmless, constructive way to get the result that we would both be after.

I must say I'm really surprised to read all of this, especially considering your last attempt to update these. Had the roles been reversed here, you would probably have linked suggestions where similar situations did lead to pricing an item to convince people that this was fine. Your reluctance to share your "business dealings" is also surprising; not once have I seen you unwilling to show proof of your sales when it came to pricing your items based on your purchases.

Aside from surprised I'm also hugely disappointed, since I know for sure that you are well aware that your sale is not usable due to the large variety of items exchanged in the process:

With that in mind, harrassing an inexperienced suggestor like you did here is low, even for you. I'm glad he kept it open, and did not concede to your preposterous and demanding statements, as the suggestion as it is, is valid.

To address the suggestion you linked (so this one: https://backpack.tf/suggestion/52e44f5d4dd7b8b73c8b456d ):

This is a situation from 10 years ago. Back then, it was impossible to price anything based on a single sale, as suggestions by default required at least two sales. The rules and guidelines have since adapted multiple times to accommodate the very type of suggestion that priced almost all of these to begin with (which - again - is something you are clearly aware of). You have taken its situation completely out of context here.

Why you are so opposed to this suggestion is beyond me. 9 months ago you were convinced an update was necessary because its current value was obviously wrong, and now that there are sales to back up your statement, you oppose once more. Back when you made them, I assumed you were planning on selling part of your collector's collection and were using the suggestions to improve your negotiating power. I would've expected "I told you so" types of suggestions when you did sell them, but I never expected to see this.

Regarding this suggestion: it marks the only usable sale; with no new sales in well over a month, we're reporting the sale as is.

In my opinion, it seems like it should fall under the same precedent as the following that got accepted, essentially where the price of the other sale was "obviously an outlier". No evidence was provided for that sale
