Key price on 10/12/2023:
Marketplace - 7377 sold @ $2.08
Item is 1/1, I am the second owner. Only sale, no sister effects for sale either.
$69.00/$2.08 = 33.17 keys = 33 keys.
If we're taking current key prices on 11/28/23, $69.00/$1.77 = 38.98 keys = 39 keys.
I will go with 33 unless someone tells me otherwise, since, to my knowledge, we use key prices at time of sale.
I agree. The lack of similar effects and the hat in question being 1/1 is a fair point in favor of your suggestion. I also liked the fact that you included a mathematical break-down of the key price based on the price of sale. The screenshot evidence provided also lends credence to your suggestion and is a good source of logos for the reader, on top of ethos as well. My only suggestion is that the pathos of your post could use some work in order to help convince any would-be voters, I recommend including how the hat is a breath taking spectacle on the eyes and is an all-around mood booster for anyone who views it (myself included). All in all, this is an excellent suggestion and I am in no way, shape, or form, biased; or sponsored to say this. You would be doing yourself, me, and the TF2 community as a whole a service if you voted yes on this fellows good-natured suggestion.

Cash Trades / Market Transactions
Use the value of keys on the site at which the item sold to determine the key conversion at the time of the trade. (i.e. use the SCM value of keys on SCM sales, use the marketplace.tf value of keys on marketplace.tf sales, use the opskins value of keys on opskins sales). For most transactions, this means you can use the key value at the exact date of the sale. When key prices are not stable, or when key values are unusually high or low at a certain day...
The hat was sold on Nov 3rd.

Key price on date/time of sale = $2.26
So: $69 / $2.26 = 30.53
30.53 is rounded up to 31 Keys
This should be resuggested @ 31 Keys
