5 currently for sale at 0.11 ref and a good amount of sellers at 0.16 ref. Gonna keep 0.16 in the range despite the few sellers at 0.11 given the consistent sales but 0.22 shouldn't be in the range given sales at that price don't happen as frequently and a wide amount is available for lower.
I feel like this change is unnecessary given sales are still happening at 0.22 refined. I feel this goes against the Rules for Non-Unusual Suggestions
Making Suggestions That Are Meaningful and Relevant
We want to encourage meaningful suggestions that are helpful to the community, not suggestions that promote clutter. When considering whether to suggest a small change, try to use some common sense and determine whether or not the change really represents a useful or meaningful one to people casually using the site. Is 15 refined vs 15.11 refined really a price change that matters to the vast majority of users? In practice, the answer is no - they are basically the same, and thus the suggestion is not really needed.
I do not feel this suggestion is useful to the community.
Except there are roughly 1.5-2 pages of sellers at 0.16, many of them with multiple hundred to sell. I think this should pass
Wild, I did not realize this suggestion is still open. Suggestions are based primarily on sales with current classified listings being a secondary factor since they do not represent actual transactions.
I checked gladiator.tf for the Rocket Jumper and 0.22 refined transactions still represent 20% of all buys within the past 7 days, so there's still meaningful movement for 0.22 refined to remain in the range.
Suggestions are meant to be meaningful to the average TF2 player. I personally think removing 0.22 refined from the range is an insignificant price change, and not wholly support given the sustained transactions.
If there's a big supply available at 0.16 ref, why should they be valued at 0.22 ref? Sales in the past month also indicate that the most common trading point is 0.11-0.16, with 51 at 0.11 ref, 48 at 0.16 ref (39+9) and only 12 at 0.22 ref https://gladiator.tf/sales?item=Rocket%20Jumper&at=2024-04-25T11:16:46.513Z
The Rocket Jumper is not valued at 0.22 refined, it is valued at 0.11-0.22 refined. A price range does not mean all sales need to be evenly distributed across the range or even wholly within the range.
There are 130+ sell orders there at 0.16 ref unsold, and all 0.22 purchases are from same bot, which overpaid all scrap weapons.
(That bot buys most scrap weapons at 0.11ref)
"Is 15 refined vs 15.11 refined really a price change that matters to the vast majority of users? "
I'd say, between 0.17 and 0.135, that's 25% down, so that makes sense.
My personal stance remains I feel this suggestion is insignificant. However, after checking Eazy Peazy Squeezy Lemons' comment on the Sticky Jumper suggestion which led to the 0.11-0.16 refined resuggest, I concede there is precedence for this suggestion to be accepted.
I agree with Baloo, I just don't see a point in any Unique Weapon Suggestions
