There’s a strangifier for this hat so you should just suggest for the non strange version

Strangifier costs 250 keys and they're pretty rare now (only a handful exist), I think its safe to say you can separate strange unusual and unusual for these

Sales very inconsistent and last recorded one was 2022, could be used to support argument, I could only trace <30 Safeguard Strangifier's left that exist, most in dead accounts that have never logged into bp.

I think staff should make/reconsider the strangifier rule in the forseeable future considering it’s been a literal decade almost since they have been added to the game and their supply is extremely limited now.

After some discussion with the other mods we have decided to accept this on the basis of the higher strangifier price. For cases like this in the future, if the strangifier is expensive, the hat should be priced on the strange unless there is proof that the non-strange sells for the same amount. Conversely, if the strangifier is relatively cheap, we should price on non-strange unless there is proof that the strange sells for more. Note that the cheap strangifier case is the current policy on pricing these hats, and that what we consider an "expensive" or "cheap" strangifier is not defined - this value can change over time and we would rather have it decided on a case-by-case basis.

An additional reason for accepting this is that it combats people trying to use the strangifier as a way to overcharge for the hat, like is currently being done, see https://gyazo.com/f1380c702603530b6cecc82f429ebe23 When it is priced on the strange price, the strangifier value is built-in so this is not possible.
