England 92: After dealing with Harold's body, Harthacnut puts Godwin, now Earl of Wessex (a title given to him by Harold after being very loyal to him), on trial. A lesser man like him should probably just get executed on the spot, but Godwin is able to manoeuvre the crisis by bribing the King and gave him a dazzling new ship! He is able to keep his title and his head thanks to his skills. (He probably would not get beheaded if found guilty, but would need to pay a huge fine with an additional stripping of nobility)

England 93: Harthacnut wanted to increase the size of his fleet to protect against England and Denmark's enemies, which equates to more taxation to pay for the larger military spending! Everyone hates taxes, even more when the peasants can't even farm enough to feed themselves anymore.

England 94: Harthacnut ruled differently than other English Kings. English Monarchy is less about one man ruling a nation, but more of a king with his council rules the nation together. Harthacnut basically threw this rule out of the window and established autocracy, ruling like an absolute monarch and his actions later on will alienate his people and the nobility.
