Arundel was the first of the three to be brought to trial, at the parliament of September 1397, he was condemned and executed after a quarrel with the King. Gloucester was being held prisoner by the Earl of Nottingham at Calais while awaiting his trial, where he died of presumably illness, but it was speculated that he was killed by orders of the King so he does not need to face the disgrace of condemning a prince to death.
