Tthis should be 117 keys flat. The banned user isn't a fencing account or a scammer. He was banned for brokering for banned users on his alt.

bought from a banned user that is banned to sth trading related. pretty sure this sale cant be used. also you cant have a range with a single sale

117 shows on your side though so at least that could potentially be used if the buying from scammers/ banned user fences can be ignored

Well, okay, but how do you determine the price of an item without sales or purchases, although it is clear that it gets more expensive every year.

you bought the item for 117 keys which is the only recent sale (within last 3 months). So if the sale is valid and mods accept it even though its from a very shady seller that is also a scammer judging by recent comment, you would have to resuggest this at just 117 keys flat.

The "getting more expensive every year" really does not matter for suggestions, the only thing that really matters is recent sales within the last 3 months.

My guess is that mods will just tell you to close this since the item came from a trading related banned account, so the sale will just be invalid for suggesitons.

He explained the situation with his account to me, you can look at the rep tf yourself. If he was a scammer, he would have a red flag saying "beware of scammer, do not trust him"

Some hats have no documented sales at all and I don't think that's normal, it's better for the backpack moderators themselves to determine the average price

and they will most likely determine that the sale cant be used and the hat will stay outdated.

Okay, I agree with that, but this theft has nothing to do with my review. I gave him the keys, he gave me the hat. In this case, everything is fair.

you cannot have a range with 1 sale. you cannot use scammer sales to price a hat. close this before a moderator does for you. if you need help making a suggestion, check out the backpack.tf discord server.

What if I was the third in this chain? In the sense that it wasn't me who was sold but first to another person, and then to me, and wouldn't this hat have been obtained through scamming? People deceive each other everywhere and always, and this hat is not to blame for the fact that it was sold by a scammer

it changes the fact that you cannot use the sale to price the hat. that is the rule.

If the moderator does this, then I don't mind, I won't put it up until I sell it.
