B/O was 525, capping it at this. The merryweather most likely isn't 305 as there is a seller for 250 rn, so this also supports the b/o cap.

Taking 525.
Raising suggested price based on sale of a spelled one is literally against the point of suggesting. This unusual was sold for more because of that spell, a clean one (without spell) would never be sold for that ammolunt of keys.
Can you direct me to where that is in the rules? The rules themselves say:
"Modifications
Modifications like Paint, Spells, Name/Desc Tags and Killstreaks don't add value for suggestions generally, for some unusual weapons pro ks can matter tho."

Also spells is fine for suggesting if there has been an extended period without a clean sale, in this case it's been a very long time.

So this is right on par.
the requirement for raising with a spell is not based on whether or not a non-spelled one has recently sold or not but rather if the non-spelled owners are active or not (if they are not active raising with a spell is fine as the non-spelled would be locked in their account and unlikely to move). in this case there are 2 non-spelled ones on the market therefore it would be best to wait for one of these to move first
They've been listed for a year :/. The requirements according to the rules by Polar do not state what you said so I'm just wondering where what you said is stated.
that quote you are referring to was written back in 2017 when spells didn't for the most part add any value to unusuals. since then in most cases it is pretty clear that they do in fact add value.
i'm fairly confident you have come across several suggestions that have quoted the same as what I have quoted above so this is nothing new though yes that section of the guidelines do need to be updated for sure to not confuse newer suggesters.
