Yeah, I thought I remembered it being 3 months at one point, which is why I went out of my way to contact Strx to grab a screenshot of the sale, since compares don't show the full trade.

but while I was researching the price for those hats involved in his trade, I read the rule post that stated not to use sales older than 2 months. I'm not cherry-picking evidence, I thought that 2 months timeframe was the new guideline, that's why I didn't use that sale as part of the range. It's also why I didn't bother fully mini-ing that sale. Since if it's considered outdated, and should only be used as supplemental proof, then it appears close enough to the 400 sale to show that it's not an outlier-sale. But since that post is outdated, and that 2 months timeframe is not the current rule, I'll close this and resuggest it including Strx's sale. Thanks for the information.

as a side note, if those rules are outdated, there realllyyyy shouldn't be a large notice at the top of the post that says: "This thread serves as a list of up to date rules on suggesting prices for unusual items. When a rule is changed, the main post (this one) will be updated, and a changelog post will be added below."
