3x the price of scorching for an orbiting effect, literally why
It was 3-4 weeks of bidding and waiting which only made the price go up further since a month is a long time in trading. I personally know one of the bidders who said they could easily beat my offer of 500 keys and that was in december. I think if this did sell for 600-700 keys that would still be seen as insanely overpriced.
tbf the hat is almost as perfectly themed as you can get, but still pretty amazing that it fetched this kind of mark up. tf2 trading in a nutshell
Anyone who just wants a decent all class hat with scorching flames has hundreds of options. Try building a perfectly themed unusual loadout on a budget. Almost all the best hats are either locked up with collectors or are selling at ridiculous prices.

Probably better to wait and see if it sells and for how much
Both owners of this hat had each other added to compare offers and the 2nd dapper owner is more or less brand new to trading to the point where i had to tell him to turn on his authenticator this month. He cant even trade still (says user is unavailable to trade) and hes aware of this sale. At least this pricing gives them an idea of the hats value.
