sales over 3 months are too old to be valid so unfortunately this wont pass

educated guess on the validity of the suggestion below:

There is a case of whether or not this should be taken as a valid suggestion given that the trade happened 3> months ago.

There are exceptions for this rule, notably for more rare or items that rarely move, and so this is where this is a little interesting because as the suggester noted, the items used in the trade just got updated mini's, being the Time Warp Defiant Spartan (5 days ago), Strange Scorching Flames Pyromancer's Hood (4 months ago (after the sale)), and Something Burning This Way Comes El Jefe (3 months ago).

- Time Warp Defiant Spartan was 2 years outdated, so wouldn't be appropriate to suggest the Rifleman using that price, meaning that it'd be basically only worthwhile to use the most recent suggestion.

- Strange Scorching Flames Pyromancer's Hood was 3 years outdated, and the 4 month suggestion would be appropriate for the trade at the time,

- Something Burning This Way Comes El Jefe has a new sale since the 3 month suggestion, but same kind of logic from the one above.

So I would personally suggest that this would be okay with kind of "loose" interpretation of the rules, because if a suggestion was posted 2 months ago, when the sale was still 100% valid, it would still have a chance to be accepted by mods because of the evidence used. I've had suggestions open for 3 months and have had trades dating back to 6 months before the suggestion was accepted, just due to how it was handled after the suggestion was made. Though I do not know how the mods would handle things like this, where the suggestion was just made and they would just say "well, the trade is 3+ months old, so we can't use it" and that would be that.

Unfortunately, this sale is way too old to be used. Others are right that we do grant some leniency for 1 of 1 sales based on a case-by-case basis, but this goes much, much far beyond what could be considered a reasonable exception here. 5 months (now, 8 months) is far too old to be used. This would be a different case if this was suggested earlier and merely resuggested to fix outdated unusual values as Jame mentioned, but that's not the case here.

Were this to be accepted, others would think that 5 month old sales are okay to use in a suggestion, which is not going to be the case anytime soon.

This will have to stay outdated, with the mention that should've this been suggested when it initially sold, it would've been accepted pretty easily.
