Argument to made: <50 strange uncraftable exist according to backpacks database, the only other ones for sale right now are over 5 Keys on marketplace, is it a niche item? yes, considering how hard the non strange ones are to get <1000 of those are registered on backpacks database aswell, maybe we've come full circle and "dirty" hats are popular again because of how rare they have become?
Hmm. I think the issue I have with this is not the fact that the price increase is justified, but the fact that buying an uncraftable toss-proof towel and a strangifier is far cheaper than 4.8 keys. This is taking into account the high price of $3.69 that the unique uncraftable ones are selling for on marketplace.
There's also a SCM sale that seems to be way lower than 4.8 Keys:

$1.94 to be specific. Which, considering the current buyer I do think is low as well.
I'm willing to leave this up for some time to gather some opinions and maybe even wait for a second sale, if we're lucky.
chances are we are probably gonna have to wait for a second sale(if were lucky), but im fine leaving this open in the meantime, the strangifier itself is barely 3$ but the uncraftable toss proof towel is also asking 3$, granted the market for the uncrafts is almost nonexistent, they have quite the cult following as of the past year or so and some have become surprisingly difficult to get since the last time hats could be uncraftable was 2012?
Uncraftables always had a niche market, it's just not a very active one from what I've seen. So for some hats (like this one) it takes a while before any real sales happen that truly impact their value.
And yeah, that's exactly my point. The strangifier and uncraft both add up to around $6-7 depending on where you buy them from, which is still a fair bit lower than the $9 sale. My guess as for why this would sell would simply be the convenience of not having to go through buying an uncraftable and strangifier.
In my personal opinion, this will probably be fine to accept within a month or two if nothing changes. But it doesn't feel right to accept this right away by seeing the current state of the market for not just for this, but for the uncraft towel and strangifier as well.
If others agree or disagree here, they're free to reply. Ordindarily, we leave mod comments when we're not sure of what the outcome is supposed to be, and we just discuss it amongst ourselves. But this being such a fringe exception, I feel that seeing feedback from more people is much more valuable than it'd be on a more "case by case" scenario, as I can definitely see this repeating itself for a different type of hat.

I think we can ignore the paint in this case and use this sale, this should be resuggested at 1.4 Keys.
