Fair point, I think 1.44 to 1.77 could also work here. But if we wanted to include 1.33 I think excluding 2.22 as well would make the range too lopsided (2.66 is excluded because it's both a distance and volume outlier if that makes sense).
The second point is a bit more subjective - I think when widening the range like this, whether the change is strictly a raise or drop is not really the main focus (it's more so adjusted to include/exclude sale values).
