If the spelled Sir Hootsalot can be mini-ed then there's no reason to exclude sale 2 here

I have no way of doing a mini on it, we agreed in the trade that it was worth 55 keys to him but the chat logs are gone

You can't make a suggestion on spelled items, but in this case all you have to do is show how much the item sold for in your unusual suggestion to come up with a reasonable value for it. The easiest thing to do in this case would be to ask for proof for what Fake sold it for and use that.

So for example, if he sold it for 17 keys, what should the price suggestion end up being? Would it be 117-155 keys?

Since Fake resold quite soon (2-3 weeks) after they bought it I would personally go with the second sale as a flat value if it ends up being lower (but you could also argue for the range you mentioned, especially if the Hootsalot sold for more). The value of the second sale would be 100 keys + what the Hootsalot sold for as you said.
