"The lower buyout wasn't really up long enough before changing to cap the sale at 44, but it does support including 27 as a low end.
A range of 27-44 would be fine."

Listed @ 40 keys before, https://ibb.co/1JmBJ3k6, new sale looks suspicious. I'll wait for mod verification.
Both trades happened 24 hours apart, so the “it was a quick sale” excuse doesn't work here

I kept increasing the price since I felt like I was undervaluing the hat. Eventually settling on a price of 46 keys, which I sold to a person I met in a trade server for 44 because they seemed nice. I promise there was no foul play!

Buyer here, yes it was not a quick sell. It also took quite some convincing to even get him to sell it to me, I was willing to pay full price because it was 1 of 3 and I do not intend to profit.(It will rot in my inventory for all eternity)

You're also comparing a no minimum bid scrap.tf auction to a normal trade between 2 parties. The low price I was able to get on it is what allowed for me to find a buyer I was willing to sell to so quickly.

I'll wait for a moderator’s comment. Both trades were “quick sales” and ignoring one of them basically goes against the rules. Lengthy negotiations don’t negate the fact that the item was sold within 24 hours.
The auction was open for 24 hours. No issues.

Yeah, I think this is a good price range to go with since it is unlikely we will see a 3rd sale within the next couple of months or longer, I closed my suggestion and upvoted yours.
Looks like this was dumped to a buy order for presumably less than 44, so this seems too volatile to price at the moment. It'd be better to leave this unpriced until more sales occur.
