Clean assassin grade demo hat, id say its somewhere around this mark

job not done you need to explain where the value comes from, and you can't make a range from one sale

I didnt know how to get that specific link where u can show specific items traded but now that you've given it, it's pretty self explanatory. If you look up the items I traded for it they add up to somewhere around 200.Polar forecast blast defense priced at 59 keys, 4 listed all above 80 - 90 keys. Festive pro ks rocket launcher listed at 55 keys without including good parts, then the piercing headache short fuse is the only strange one unboxed which u could quicksell for 37 keys as is, so the price of that is probably around 50 - 60. Its just a suggestion on what I think the scorching short fuse is worth. The range part doesnt matter to me if it is either 170 or 180. After all I was just going for an estimate

blast defense has an outdated price and needs a mini

rocket launcher you need to provide actual sales, not listing price

the strange short fuse has no recent sales once it sells you could mini that

and again one sale can't have a range, you are using estimations for items that haven't sold or have proof of sales. buy orders and sellers don't give an accurate representation of the item's value

when the mods close this they can provide a more detailed explanation,

feel free to read this https://forums.backpack.tf/topic/6033-rules-for-unusual-price-suggestions/#comment-67068

Fair enough. Yes i'm aware the unusuals prices are "rough estimates" but thats the whole point of a price suggestion though isnt it?

If buy orders don't give you an idea of what the item is worth then you're lying. If multiple people are quickbuying an item for 37 keys it will most likely sell for 40 - 50 if you list it up for awhile, you know that. It's fine though i'm not arguing that point what I paid for it is what I paid and if you dont agree with it that's fine. Just stating that the price i paid was around this mark and I think that it's worth the price.

you replied to me before reading the guide,

price suggestions are used to actually price something not give rough estimates if you wanted to do that you can look at buy orders and sellers just like you said

i made my point and i will not respond, read the guide

If you claim to have bought it for around 200 keys, where do 170 and 180 come from?

Usually item/mixed offers will require a bit of overpay compared to pure, so yes if I paid around 200 keys mixed I dont think its crazy to suggest 170 - 180 pure

That's not how it works. If the sale was 200, you count the sale at 200 unless for an example the seller had a lower buyout, then in that case you count the sale at the lower price. However that still doesn't change the fact that you can't have a range with one sale. As kbaby already mentioned, you'll also need to provide proper values for the other items involved since you can't just make rough estimations slightly higher than buyers

Hmm ok, I didn't know that. So if i'm supposed to value what I traded off of buy orders it would be 160 key seen as there is no previous records of the strange piercing short fuse sold which was in the trade. So would it have been better if I price suggested 160? Because that would be fine with me too. Like I said I was just going for a rough estimate to begin but I would still personally say its not far off that range
