Buy orders are close/higher than the suggested price.

Better to wait new sales to find out outlier..

"As many of the other cases commented here, buyers have shown up after the suggestion was posted (and have seemed inconsistent at best according to the other comments here) which we usually accept."
"Adding a mod response here due to the number of comments, and multiple downvotes here (albeit a small percentage).
We're happy to accept this, it's recording the sale as is and it doesn't appear the current owner is selling it currently, or will be in the near future.
Should this sell again, it can be re-updated, that's not a problem. The current owner of the hat has not commented here either, implying they are okay with this being accepted.

that hat has buy order at 150 keys, priced 96 keys looks reliable pricing lol. anyway, lets say this is sold for 1500 keys pure, then what will be the new price of it? 500-1500? 1500 straight? also, buyer is actively selling the hat, not 1 of 1 anymore as well. while the mods and their decisions may vary, this is wrong. 4 years old example. https://backpack.tf/suggestion/623be60b8611f96ed21e8079 anyway, new price mods will decide this.
The argument that relies on assuming a past or future sale at “X” is not sufficiently supported. The mod also presented the same rebuttal in the suggestion you provided.
"want to point out that nothing indicates this is "worth" 1500 and that what you think something can sell for is not the same as its factual value"

If anyone can’t read the rules
Yes, you can price items using a buy order dump even
The difference there is that there's more than 1 sale around the same price, suggesting a common trade point. Here, there's only the one transaction, and the item sold within a day of it being unboxed and listed.
https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561199013645470#!/compare/1771027200/1771113600 - It was untradable when it was unboxed on the 14th
This isn't a representative sale of the item's value with how quickly it sold. It'd be better to wait for another sale before this gets a price.
Me thinks price suggestions like this one are a great standard for how we're supposed to approach price suggestions in general; a recording of sales. Not an ''official'', trader-wide endorsed price list. I think any single trader that would be interested in this hat knows the sale is a 'fluke', but it's a sale regardless, so it definitely should be accepted.
If buy orders remain above the suggested price, then any next sale will immediately invalidate this price. But for now, this should be accepted right?
Then you will need another sale to find out outlier when it sells 1500 keys or more. Rules may change but the logic must remain same. Got many old suggestions like this. Some of them accepted, some of them are not. Logical stuff. So this suggestion is on the hands of mods whom are human that can manupilate their powers, which makes bp.tf suggestions reliable. https://backpack.tf/u/76561198243410170
It is very difficult to pinpoint what you're trying to say, but as I said, consistent buyers above the suggested price should invalidate this sale next time a suggestion is made. But that's an unlikely situation, since we're already two months in and soon enough this sale will become outdated anyways.
Additionally, you are saying that this suggestion is ''in the hands of the mods that can manipulate their powers'', so that would make backpack factually unreliable, not reliable as you put it. Weird statement, I'm not entirely certain what the purpose of your reply is.
