I sure hope someone else buys and relists at 4000k again
Item 1: https://backpack.tf/item/7652280930
Sale 1: Sold for what looks like 1700 items (not 1700 in items, 1700 ITEMS)
https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198085861958#!/compare/1774828800/1775088000
https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198394089793#!/compare/1774915200/1775088000
Given that just the first 90 items are 1600k, with what looks like 18 unusual painted items, and another 1900k~ in additional items, this sale is easily 4k+ in item overpay. Given that it was resold roughly 2 weeks later for less than half this price (and that this sale is so inflated with overpay that it's basically unusable), excluding.
Sale 2: Sold for a Strange Cloudy Moon Anger and a Searing Plasma Master's Yellow Belt
https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198063640894#!/compare/1776643200/1776729600
https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198394089793#!/compare/1776556800/1776729600
Open suggestion for the CMoon Anger can be found here: https://backpack.tf/suggestion/69c529fca1f711484a0c7176
Taking unrounded value of 1515k.
Open suggestion for the Searing Plasma Master's Yellow Belt can be found here: https://backpack.tf/suggestion/69eec4a2b10dfd5fda0ab6c3
Taking 325k.
Total for Sale 2: 1515 + 325 = 1840k
Sale 3: Sold for a Terror-Watt Polar Pullover, a Stellar Ascent Starlight Sorcerer, a Pumpkin Moon Wandering Wraith, and a Ghastly Ghosts Taunt: The Victory Lap
https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198155066949#!/compare/1777161600/1777248000
https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198063640894#!/compare/1777161600/1777248000
Stellar Ascent Starlight Sorcerer open suggestion can be found here: https://backpack.tf/suggestion/69f0e66edc01e4dffd0bd6e5
Taking 990k.
Terror-Watt Polar Pullover open suggestion can be found here: https://backpack.tf/suggestion/69dda6828ad9f973180ba941
Taking 980k.
Taking buyers on the PMoon Wraith, see comments on previous suggestion: https://backpack.tf/suggestion/69efc7855f709267ed0ef871
Basically the only sales are the above Sale 3 (bulk), and this one, which is also bulk:
https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198328282971#!/compare/1773964800/1774051200
https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198155066949#!/compare/1773964800/1774051200
If mods are fine with me using the 499k outdated price as opposed to 401k buyers, then I'll resuggest with those values.

Taking 401k.
Taking buyers on the PMoon Wraith, see comments on previous suggestion (again): https://backpack.tf/suggestion/69efc7855f709267ed0ef871
Same issue as the PMoon Wraith above, only movements are the above Sale 3 (bulk, again) and the following, which is also bulk (again):
https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198152373135#!/compare/1773705600/1773792000
https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198155066949#!/compare/1773705600/1773792000
This item's price is also vastly more outdated, so forced to take buyers here.

Taking 135.1k.
Total for Sale 3: 990 + 980 + 401 + 135.1 = 2506.1k
Classifieds link: https://imgur.com/a/5Hcdsg9
Two sales, one at 1840k and one at 2506.1k. Rounding our low end up to1850k in case of an issue with either open suggestion, and rounding our high end sale down to 2500k for the same reason, and taking those for the range.
Normally when someone sells for a lot less than they buy both sales are excluded, no? Especially since we have a new saw now
True, but the problem is that the first sale is likely to be a massive outlier value-wise, there's tons of stuff in there that's speculatively priced or outdated due to things like spells as well. Not being able to ascertain a proper value is kind of awkward, but it could be a valid reason to say that the 1800k sale is an outlier, if the others are 2500k and however much sale 1 would be (easily 2500k+, but given all the spelled items its likely way more). Even if the amount of overpay is so drastic the guy could've just dumped for pure and paid the buyout at 4000k which this would cap to, that could also be grounds to say the high sale is a bigger outlier, since the lower 2 sales are closer in range than that one.
I would wait for mod input to see how this should be handled, as the first sale is ridiculous and a good portion of it is likely impossible to price (specifically the abundance of unusual war paints, which even on the low-end would make up probably 500k+), and the low sale after means that Ribs basically dumped a few thousand to KUSH for no reason, which means it could even be a buyout of sorts with cash involved making up a portion of the trade we don't know of. I'd imagine they just say to take Sale 3's value flat, since Sale 1 is a nightmare + Sale 2 is contradicting his bulk offer of legend, or I get put into the mini-factory of doom and despair and do about 80 spell minis.
Yeah my sale is closer to the low end based on the suggestion. However we’re using buy orders on the p moon and the taunt, and if you look at the polar suggestion they’re using buy orders for both ends of that range too. So realistically (if we weren’t using buy orders for 2/3 of my trade) it would be closer to 3k, putting it right in the middle of the 2 other sales.
But yeah I guess we just wait for mods. I have a feeling they will want to exclude or use both.
Yeah the buyers are the odd part, if this was closer to 2800k~ based off buyer estimates at previous sales, this would be 1000k over low end and with a high end capping at 4k (possibly less, but almost certainly more) making the gap 1200k, they would probably just cull the high and low ends as outliers due to the massive disparity there. The buyers only strip 300k of value, as the Wraith even at 500k would only put this to 2600k, and the Lap is an outlier within its own unusual effect pool, but still demands buyers regardless. Double exclusion seems fair and appropriate here.
