It is 1/2 Strange Factory New Iso Aqua Marine Rockets in the game the other has been with its owner for years this one is spelled

This feels wrong to me. So very wrong.

Sure the non spelled has not moved (mine) but the idea of valuing post life spells (something that is like a glitch + a spell) and treating it as regular spell PLUS it being a weapon vs a hat (hats clearly have way closer valuations to their non spelled versions) makes this feel like pricing it would only serve to mis guide users about the true rough estimation of the value of certain items (not that having a 3000 key bump to my backpack value is not welcome, but not if it means people could be mislead in the future about comparable blue skin Strange Iso weps)

I would argue any person making the likes of a 3000 key item purchase would be researching the item and find this price suggestion. Price suggestions are merely suggestions and no trader should realistically take them at face value. If your variant will never move, then this price update is based purely on the spelled variant and it should be treated as such.

Most people have already assertained that the value of the Rocket Launcher was quite ridiculous before finding out it was spelled. I recall as I shared the sale myself in the liquid unusual trade server and most people were surprised by the sheer value, before finding out it was spelled.

I'm still buzzed (its my weekend judge if you want) and you can argue that, but it's a waste of time to do so

Most Strange FN Iso are in the range of 300-500 with exceptions of course for grade

Dont make me list mine for 1500 (a price no one on earth would pay) just to make this invalid (yes I would and yes I would accept 1500, you'd be brain damaged not to)

The idea that someone (and they will, people are garbage) can say "selling Woodland Strange FN Iso Rocket for 2200 pure, QS Aqua just sold for 3k and sure its up to the person to research but backpack.tf has been way way more strict about not treating items as "estimation"

the market has changed, people don't view backpack.tf prices a a loose estimation anymore people straight up speculate on it, and overbid bp.tf values consistently, you open this can of worms you only serve to make the values of all strange unusual weapons inaccurate let alone strange fn iso

Or price it and make me richer idc, just my 2 cents

This suggestion is not going to work. A key difference with (most) unusuals that are priced based off spelled sales, is that they are unusuals that can no longer be unboxed. With this Rocket Launcher, this is most definitely not the case.

This is even moreso not the case considering this is a Mercenary Grade Rocket Launcher. It's very likely that we will see another one of these unboxed in a reasonable timeframe, and it's highly unlikely that it will sell for this much.

This is also a very particular case where spells add even more value than they normally would, because spells were already completely discontinued when this item was a released, meaning that this is a glitched item technically. (Or post-life, as others have mentioned here as well.) Most spelled unusuals had their spells applied when the ongoing halloween events were active, that's also a key distinction.

This will need to stay unpriced.
