Then where the fuck does 18-20 come from?

offered him 18 he said he'll hold for 20+, asked for 19 and agreed

In that case if the sale was 19, you take 19 keys. You can't make a range based on an unsuccessful sell order and an offer which wasn't accepted

When making the suggestion i went with the option of setting a low end and a high end. that option wouldnt exist if there wasnt a basis of doing so and my reasoning to make it 18-20 is valid to me. Couldve been 19-20 but 18-20 seems like the logical conclusion.

You can't use 18 or 20 if there are no sales at those values

i read the rules buddy what youre saying isnt correct

"Offers alone are not enough to make a suggestion. This does not mean that offers are not helpful. They are very useful for defining a range and identifying outliers"

"B/Os alone can only be used to drop the value on a hat (you cannot raise based on a b/o.)"

You literally just proved my point lmao, “this does not mean that offers are not helpful. They are very useful for defining a range and identifying outliers.” Bro you are not real lmao

Defining (aka supporting) a range using sales.... u cant use offers to make a range tho Death :(

Read it about 100 times for me and tell where it doesnt say offers cant be used to define a range

                          Mate I made the rules

Offered 20. Agreed to 20. Offered 18 to get a discount, said ill hold for 20+. Asked for 19. Sold for 19. Used offers to define a range.

And it LITERALLY says OFFERS ALONE, the hat SOLD. You are not reaaaalll

Why would i do that, if thats the case id just wait till its put of date. Below 18 keys is criminally undervalue

There's nothing to suggest 12 is too low, just like how there's nothing to suggest 19 is too high. You can't knock off a sale just because you think it's too low. Intentionally waiting for a sale to go outdated for your own benefit is just blatant cherrypicking.

You can resuggest at 12-19 or somebody else can do it for you. Either way, this isn't going to pass.

Theres nothing in the the rules that says i cant do anything youre saying, its just your opinion. Youre a minority here, youre one vote. Your backpacks worth is irrelevant here king.

I can give you a million examples on why 12 is too low but itll just be based on my opinion. Nobody “knocked” off the sale because i thought it was too low, the guy who sold the hat wasnt gonna sell it for below 20 keys so how is one to acquire said hat if the value is actually 12 keys? And nobody is trying to benefit from anything, im just trying to update the price to what the hat is actually worth. Point blank period.

"but it'll just be based on my opinion". You've said it yourself. You're pricing based off of your own opinion. Prices are based off of sales, not opinions.

Items aren't priced off of what people thing they'll realistically sell for, they're a representation of what the item has sold for. There's no reason to ignore the 12 key sale.

But i didnt price it on my own opinion though? I provided the sale price and two different offers to create a low end and a high end. What are you on about at this point dude ?

I said my reasoning on why 12 is too low is my opinion… nothing about my suggestion has to do with my opinion. Youre bored bro

Brother, you've gotta work on your reading comprehension. Refer to the first section of my last comment, about pricing off of opinions. You didn't know about the sale at 12 at first, and that's fine, but refusing to fix up the range for no good reason isn't valid.

No YOU need to lmao, i was aware of the sale at 12 and its completely irrelevant. Theres no rule that states i have to use multiple sales to validate my reasoning. Stop trying to force your will onto me its not gonna work and you genuinely care way to much.

alright, you're too confidently wrong to argue with, i'm just gonna speed up the process.

                                congrats on the purchase btw

You still need to check for other sales and include them in your suggestion even if they're too low to include in the range (although in this case it isn't). Intentionally not including sales to make your item's value higher is also cherrypicking
