With scm purchases use the tf2 key sale value average of your currency on the said day. You can look at the scm sales on said day.
Then divide what you actually paid by that said value to get the key price.
who actually buys keys from the SCM? i could get them from 3rd party sites for half the price
While that may be true for suggestions you use the key value on said platform.
For example if it was a cash sale through paypal you use the value of keys for around that time that were sold through paypal. Through marketplace.tf you use marketplace.tf key sale value on said day. SCM you use the key value on SCM on said day.
that's fucking insane, i'd NEVER buy keys off SCM, this is why i quit trading back in the day, some random with nothing to do with me or my hats suggests prices WAY under what i valued my hat, i paid like 750 $cad keys from 3rd party sites are about 2.49 cad. i bought this hat with the express idea that it's worth at least 300 keys minimum. now i got a 100 key lowball price because keys cost more on scm? i'm DONE trading lol what a fucking joke
