No actual proof. Some people like green on certain hats more.

Found none on Outpost. And I also understand that people like green more sometimes, but it's never enough to warrant a half a bud price difference on a pretty cancerous hat. I would understand a half bud difference on a more highly priced hat, but this obviously isn't one of those.
