they are hard to find for that just because everyone want to make a profit on everything and ppl are also greedy as h**l. Personally I think the price should be more like 26-27 here...otherwise this will be like the spreadsheet which is a scam and also too may use it as a "price list" and not as a "price guide". Then when this wave is completed then the next suggestion will be 29keys and ppl start to buy for that price and then they also want to make a profit so they suggest the new price to be 30keys...and so on...see where I'm going with this?

Forgot to say that I got my buds for 24keys + some metals n stuff (all adding up to ~27keys).

Inflating the buds price does nothing to help anyone, but that doesn't make this suggestion any less true. I sure hope it can settle here for a week or two. It would be nice to have a clean exchange rate for more than a day.

That's because you're using trading sites. I've seen people sell for 27 keys on trade servers everywhere, and I find that the amount of people refusing to pay 28 keys for a pair of buds is high. If I can get some screenies, I'll come back to this thread.

#Oatmeal - I "think" that if everyone would go after the asking prices on for ex. outpost then normal/random craft hats would go for 1.66-2ref...everything would skyrocket just because everyone want that "1rec" or "1key" profit...it's like if you buy an unusual just to resell it, of course you want to get it as low as possible and sell it as high as possible, that's what the people with buds also do.

I did see someone selling for 27 yesterday.. but someone was a second faster than me and when I added the guy he said they were sold. Some people are even asking 29-30 but usually unsold.

There are people willing to sell for 27, but it can be rare. I'll wait weeks if I have to buy buds for 27 keys :D

and yes, you are probably right, wait some time and the prices come back down again, that's what it mostly does just because everyone thinks that they can make that 1-key profit so they sell but then when there are so many who sell at once it drags the prices back down to a more realistic level :)

You know, it doesn't matter that people are being greedy and inflating the price to 1+whatever is listed here.

Plain and simply put, if people are still buying them for X keys, that should be the price. And it appears that 28 is that price at the moment.

Raise the price by 1 key and traders will ask for 1 key more... if buds become 28 keys, traders will ask 29... raise to 29 and traders will ask 30... we have to stop inflating the price or it will keep going up

I'll thumbs up this. Yes I hate inflating the price of Buds (I don't own any at the moment) but they really are going for 28 keys pretty much everywhere. Odds of you getting them for 27 keys is "almost" nil nowadays.

You can still find them for 27 keys; even the prices on SOP have gone down a bit.

Should be an easy upvote, yet somehow people are downvoting? I tried to buy a bunch of buds just yesterday on OP. I went in thinking I was gonna buy for 27 since that's what they were a couple weeks ago. I saw absolutely no one selling at 27. So then I tried looking for 28. Even at 28 they were hard to get because literally within seconds of people putting up trades asking for 28 they were sold. I bought 17 buds yesterday with keys and paid 28 each. I added at least 5 people within seconds of them putting the trade up to find they had sold just seconds before I added. I couldn't even add them quick enough! If this isn't proof enough I don't know what is..

@The Ace of Crates. People are downvoting because you can get these at 27 and even 26 at times. Please note that you only searched for buds on Outpost. Which is just 1 site out of many and is well known to have some of the highest prices. Hope that helps you understand the negative votes!

I sold 2 of these for 28 keys within 5 minutes. Super easy.

Not voting, as I'm no longer buying earbuds at this price, but on unusual trade servers you can get earbuds for 27 keys, for those of you who are wondering about the world outside Outpost.

Its true, 28 keys is 28 keys, 27 keys is a bunch of bs crap

He is not trying to inflate at all, the link he provided ( http://tf2finance.com/ ) scopes on completed trades involving buds and keys to track buds prices in real time. This is more accurate than your "hurr, I traded for 24 keys 2 months ago, impossible, don't bottomhurt me"

EDIT : Pay attention to the bud price crash from last year. The peak of the price was lower than now, even considering real world's inflation.

This event will most likely happen again this year, when everyone who horded buds last month will try to resell these for 30 keys.

With no one to buy these for this insane price, buds will crash to the price you all cry. Same for BMOC, festives, etc...
