I feel like this is some slight publicity for your trade. Regardless of that personal opinion I shall upvote.
Vote Down because you all sold it for 24 keys in Halloween and now your pricing it up?
Halloween brang up buds to 25 keys and less. But it was a week ago.
Buds are increasing since the key rush for new unusuals finished a few days ago.
Price fluctuate, like everything. We must be realistic, and reflect what the real market is.
Brang? You mean brought?
She brangs!
Damn, my english fell off :/
Nah i tried all day to buy for lower than 26. I Failed. Saw a Lot of People Selling At 27 and Plus. Only a few were Found at 26 Keys also. If it was any other day in a few hours i could get some Buds for less than the current going price (25 recently). But today it seemed Extremely Hard.
The only thing that I don't like here are the 0.5 ranges. Buds usually sell just for a straight amount of keys so 25-27 keys would be better in my eyes. But your suggested range is more accurate, so I'll upvote.
I Did the 0.5 for the accuracy if i set it @ 25-27, 27 Keys seems a little too much.
http://tf2finance.com/ Tracks Real-time Trades and it also shows that the Average of the Buds going price is 26 Keys.
Yeah, that's what I meant. ;)
Well halloween is over, I had no issue getting 28 keys for my buds, took my just 15 minutes on a tradeserver. (was a guy NOT valuing a key at 3 ref but a good ol 2.66)
Couldn’t find a single person who would sell for 25 (or ever 25+ 1 ref), got them for 26 but almost everyone is asking for 27.
Average on tf2finance.com is 25.75. The nice part about this is that site takes into account trades outside of outpost and gives a better idea of what's happening in the market. This easily suggests that there is a lot of traffic between 25-26, which is the current range.
Brad, when are you just gonna link TF2 Finance to the price of Buds on this site? It's kinda silly to still allow the community to suggest prices for Buds now that there is a website dedicated to tracking the price of Buds far better than any single community member can.
It's tricky, but maybe remove buds and keys from public suggestions and only mods would be able to create a new one when there's something to really justify it?
I believe the wisdom/experience of the community is equally or sometimes even better than evidence presented by automated systems.
In this case, Sick-My-Duck presented the fact that it is hard to get Buds at 25 Keys based on his personal experience today, and that most comments on this page supports the argument "hard to buy at 25, hard to sell at 27".
Automated systems may sound nice, but it they are not foolproof. The suggestions on this site are what drives me to verify the trades manually.
Community input is sometimes ultra accurate. For example, the B.M.O.C. http://backpack.tf/vote/666/6/0 , I seldom say a word about it but the patterns/trend which the community presented is highly accurate, something that the "average" presented by the system cannot tell.
The problem of this suggestion is that it contains 0.5 Keys. As far as I know, people rarely buy/sell Buds at X Keys + 1.33 ref. They are always in whole numbers.
If this was a 26 Keys flat suggestion I would definitely upvote.
I'd recommend avoiding accepting x.5 - y.5 ranges in general; that's what a price z should be for.
You can buy at 26 easy, you can sell at 25 easy. It's hard to buy for 25 and it's hard to sell for 27. I think 25.5-26.5 is absolutely perfect.
Just bought me a bud for 25 keys.
yep saw that. He Had more than 5 Buds and he only wanted to sell 1. And That was the only 25 Keys trade i've seen for Hours....
