not many people can afford 11 buds you know?
rich people can afford it and if they don't want to pay that much, then this doesn't worth that much,
then most high tier unusuals should be priced down by that logic. Untill 10 bud sales occur the price wont change, also there are 2 pages of outpost and no one wants below 11 buds
Buyers decide the price. Sellers can ask for whatever amount they want but they will not get to that amount if the buyers don't think it worth it.
you can't find if a houwar has been sold because tf2 outpost doesn't let you find closed trades
I can check item history and see the offers/price it was sold.
then why didnt you? i saw that people have rejected 10 buds offers and the 11/10 bud trades have been closed. I also saw a good overpay in unusuals and Whats in the....boxes
people rejected offers of 10 but they can't trade it for 11. that why I choose the price people pay as the minimum price and the mid price of the c/o and the b/o as the high end
The price you want is not the price others agree on.
yeah .. no one is willing to do 1 bud overpay .. its a lot considering its like 25-26 more when you can avoid that massive key overpay..
Upvote.
I have it , but i agree with suggestion 10 - 10.5 buds should be fair.

Just saying at least one of your houwars is duped. That doesn't suppert your suggestion. But you can be right, neutral for now.
i sold mine for 11 two times even before the price on bp.tf reflected it. they're pretty commonly accepted as 11 buds among traders.
downvote from me.
need to know the time you sold it.
i mean if we're talking timeframes, you might want to provide more evidence of your suggestion that aren't just a few days old.
it's hard to sell expensive hats. they take time. i'm not sure the time frames we're looking at show a need for price change.
there are like 2 5+ days trades on there
you do realize these are $300+ hats, right? they typically take way more than a week to sell unless you post for sale at a crazy cheap price.
I saw 10buds+ unusuals sold in less than a week so the fact that these are $300 and that they take a lot of time doesn't sounds real good.
by your logic, any hat that doesn't sell in a week needs to have its price reduced until it's X buds, which everyone can afford. then they'll all sell relatively quickly.
team captains, modests, KE's, etc (just insert popular hat) in the $300 range definitely don't sell at their "actual value" very quickly. the market isn't that fast unless things are a severe quicksell.
speed of sale does not indicate value, because if you notice...most of the sales are pretty new. that means they ARE selling. might want to look at old trades and see what they went for, or provide some other evidence that they aren't getting 11. current price is fine, otherwise.
Same logic most of this site uses. It's ridiculous and that's why it's better to ignore spreadsheets like this one when you're trading for something valuable like this. Not to mention this is a gifted hat, so it takes a special kind of person to pay $350+ for a gifted squid hat that was literally given out for free in-game.
i wouldn't call it free
Well he will not answer anymore, but I think you're right. (Still neutral.)
That is kind of a stalker mentality. Why is it important that you need to know when someone sold a hat? He does not need to tell you when he did sell it if it was OVER 2 MONTHS AGO.
How can anyone upvote this crap? His best trade is 6 days old. Some of these trades are 2 days old and he expects them to be sold instantly. Expensive items like unusuals usually take a month before selling. Get better evidence, dude.
He is pretty much using a key seller's mentality to justify dropping the value of a hat that is a 2 year old promo and only about 1000 exist. This is pretty much as limited of a promo that you can get, and I have to say, none of his links justify an upvote.
It is not hard to get 11 buds off of it, you just have to be patient, and judging by how impatient key sellers are, they look at an item like this and say "Hmm, I could drop the price of this item by half a bud, buy it, and then resell it for even higher."
Come and think of it, when was the last time you heard of ANYONE quickselling a HOUWAR?
Don't single out one user. 90% of the users on this site do the same thing day-in day-out.
1st - all your proofs are less than a week old. It takes a little longer than that to find a willing buyer with 11 buds handy. 10-10.5 is offered left and right,
2nd - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/6790924 week old sold for TWELVE buds.
Current range is fine unless a ton of folks start selling for 10
