you need way more links of 8 keys sellers
also scrap.tf is not valid as proof
scrap.tf currently have 13 crates at 8 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9450392 bought for 6 , sold for 7 http://i.imgur.com/qsqbHqH.png
Edit : i got 14 add buyers at 7 keys within 10 seconds , i guess it was ultra quick-sells , so i think 8 better value .
Scrap works as proof for price decreases, but not increases. Increases doesn't work because people will pay extra for the convenience. But if scrap isn't selling at the same prices as everyone else, with additional proof from elsewhere, I think it works for lowering.
If I'm not mistaken, scap.tf buy #40 for 5 keys, so the fact that there are many crates in stock (although perhaps not all sold recently) proves sellers are willing to go lower.
They got their stock when they bought at 8 and sold at 10, they have all but sold out now.
Or are nervous about the price dropping.
