I presume you only go to highballserver.com, but if you go to a server actual good trade server, you'll notice not every fucker is a greedy seller. Greed is not the same as wanting to make a profit. You're greedy if you sell everything for the maximum price or more and buy everything at the minimum price or less.

3. You claim that every-one who's NOT greedy is not a good trader. Let me remind you of a site called tf2raffle.com. Lots of people giving away free stuff, open for every-one, and I'm pretty sure most contributors there are good traders, and not retarded.

There is a difference on being insulting and aggressive. Yes, it depends on person to person, and from time to time. I did not insult him, i show myself to be aggressive against him when it comes to this suggestion. If i were to insult him, i would have called him something instead of saying that. Yes, what i said can be mistaken for something else. Yes, it is a game, true! But the market is serious business(usually). People can make a quite the dosh when it comes to paying with money, through paypal as an example, which i tragiclly notice that many scammers are marked with the cause being a paypal scam. Also, i used to be able to resist it. Then the suggestions about increasing the price on the key came, constantly as well and got me on the nerves.

You think players who uncrate en-masse use Refined to pay for keys? Jesus Christ no. They use Paypal, Buds, and reselling unusuals.

As someone who used to uncrate and resell unusuals, I never ever thought about using Ref to buy keys, that's just ridiculous. The only people who buy keys with Ref are idlers and key resellers.

But you didn't think that unboxing will be more and more useless? I mean, 1 year ago you unboxed 1 hat(1.33) or good strange and you 'lost' only 0.5 key because they were for 2.66. Now you will unbox craft hat for 1.33 or (God no) bad strange for 0.11 and you feel bad because you just wasted a key. This is f**ked up and unboxing isn't fun like it was before.

Unboxed my first Unusual after opening just fifteen crates. It was worth around 7-8 Buds, so I was sorted after that. But I did get bored after a while, I wouldn't even mind unboxing craft hats (as I like to mass-craft as well), but most of the weapons are pretty guff now.

But if you're in unboxing to break even or make profit, yeah that's pretty much a no-no now.

The math has never worked in favor of unboxing.

I unboxed 10 crates in my life and I'm not saying that it will be profitable, but now you can loose WAY more at it. 1 year ago you lost 50% when you were kinda lucky and got craft hat. Now you loose 80% when you unbox a craft hat. 30% x 10? or x 100? It's a big turn off. I'm saying that unboxing can be fun from time to time, but now you're losing too much.

The real "bad guys" are highballers. They make the keys rise. Hatch and all other "key-risers" just do suggestions because of the highballers.

This is a website, where everybody can make a price suggestion. So stop hating that much cus of this.

If you really wanna stop the "rise of the dark key" you shouldnt buy keys from highballers. Because at the end of it all is every tf2 player, which buys keys for more than the actuall price, responsible for the increased key price... =(

The reason me and a lot of people hate Hatch and his crew is because they some times they will accecpt some suggestions that may hurt some people (for exemple the key price which if they didn't accept some of the suggestion the key price could be much more lower) because in the end of the day, Backpack.tf has a huge influence in the market (sure the highballers are the main reason for the rising of the price but the problem is that it almost seems that if tons of highballers would sell a key for a expensive price it will be accepted by the admins and we will be hurt by the action).

All I'm saying is that the admins should think twice about their actions.

But it's quite obvious that keys are rising non the less, after long was banned from key suggestions bptf staggered at 4.44 refs (lack of proof to up keys) and keys had long started to be sold off near the 5ref mark.

Quite a few players who thought it was still 4.44 refs sold it off and basically got ripped off.

You can hate admins for accepting...etc but keys are obviously going up and you can't help it. There are trades now that go off regularly for 5.33 refs already btw.

The fact that all the 5 ref sellers get 5+adds in less than 30 seconds supports the suggestion. I was looking at the sellers for keys for about an hour, and it took me a really long time to buy a key for 5 ref. Every time added someone, seller would be like:
