PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU JUDGE
I have no idea why this hat is so low in the prices at the moment, but anyway this hat will never go for less than 2.8. Most people apart from some want around 3 buds for it.
Most of these people in the trades are having there B/O as 4 buds or more and the ones that dont have B/O's want 3 buds or more and the good offers are more than 2.5 buds.
My Evidence:
B/O's of 4 buds and over:

People who want 3 buds:

People who want 3.2 buds:

People who want 3.5 buds, (Overpriced in my opinion):

Thankyou
Separate the offers that prove your price range, and providing some sales would be good, too.
Basically, organize it so that we can see why you're suggesting this price and not another - that helps a lot.
Also, ditch the trades that are one month or older - that's invalid proof, you're suggesting for the currentprice.
People's B/O's don't mean anything. Just because I want to sell my 2 bud hat for 5 buds doesn't mean it's worth 5 buds.
Ok well ignore the actual B/O and focus on the offers, most are over 2.5 buds
You should list the offers over 2.6 buds, not have everyone go and search though each trade, look up the value and figure out overpay. It's the job of the suggester to do that.
ok well thanks for that, and its my first suggestion anyway so i guess i need a bit of help
Unusual suggestion take time to make, I would recommend finding out all the values of the offers and reopening the suggestion with the new proof
I will leave this for now and make a new suggestion later like you say when i have better proof, also thankyou for the advice
Buyout don't mean jack, I've this unusual in the past and I traded it 1:1 with a strange festive scattergun which sold for 2.75 buds pure
I'm not sure if this is a positive comment or a negative because to me it sounds like you are agreeing with me
It's a comment against your price; 2.75 is below your suggested range and like he has stated, the buyouts you have listed are invalid as proof. Any seller can list any price they want, but if the price is not met and no one is willing to go that high for it, then it means nothing.
I'm disagreeing with you, buyouts mean absolutely nothing all they do is say "This is the most I will accept for this hat" and it's why I never set any. Like the comment above have stated just because you have a 2.5 bud hat and you price it at 4 buds doesn't mean it's anywhere close to that. HOWEVER this hat is underpriced on backpack, it's bellow steaming, smoking and far bellow stormy storm and it only beats Bubbling and N&B. So I'm not as much disagreeing with you as I am providing constructive criticism of this price suggestion. Didn't mean to make this comment into a paragraph but it happened
Well thankyou for for the advice and thankyou for actually agreeing with me that its underpriced, i will probably just leave this to see how it goes and i will make a new suggestion when i have gathered all the proper proof i need, thankyou
Just a heads up, if a suggestion is rejected by a mod your reputation score will drop depending on how may people voted against it up to -15 points, thus preventing you from making another suggestion until it gets out of the negative. If you close it yourself however, you lose no points, and you can make another suggestion right away instead of having to wait.
Thanks and i will take that into account but i still think that this will attract a lot of people and that they will agree with me that its under priced. If i do get too many negative points then lesson learned and i will make a suggestion withh better proof but for now im just going to leave it, thanks anyway.
No problem (^-^) If what Nykis said is true, and he did sell it for above the current price, then this unusual may definitely need an update. Keep an eye on the offers presented in each trade though, and see if the owners are willing to accept lower than their B/O or not; for example, in link 3 of your evidence the owner was willing to part with the beak for 2.5 pure, but didn't end up selling because the person retracted. If the other trader didn't retract, he would have sold it, even though his B/O asked for higher.
Most of the time B/O's are often placed on unusual trades because people tend to try and lowball on the unusuals in question, and placing high B/O seems to sometimes be the only way for sellers to keep a majority of them away. Other times they are placed because the owner really wants more for them, but like me and others have stated, if no one is willing to go that high for them, then the price becomes unrealistic. It is often because of this that when unusual suggestions are made, we turn to completed sales and offers to determine if the change is right or not, since B/O's aren't very reliant as proof.
OK thank you and yes it does whether its my suggestion that's gets it up or someone else's, this really needs an update i mean all of the low tier effects are above this apart from 2 and on the list there is a big gap between stormy and blizzardy which is very unusual.
Ohai. Prawn. I still own most of your craft hats. :3
On topic; this does not show successful sales, only what people want for the item. If you take a look on outpost most people are greedy enough to charge 20-30% more than the price written on here, but that does not mean they successfully sell the item at that price.
For unusuals, try taking a look for offers (factoring in unusual overpay of course) and see what interests the seller from that.
ok i do agree and this is a fail of a suggestion on my part but this is in dire need of on update :)
Yes it needs a raise but not at this unproven range. Downvote from me.
