You know... I find these things suspicious. I have priced >50 hats that have never been priced or are >1 year old. And almost all of them are pretty close....
Sellers following bp.tf price blindly?
This isn't news really. Only about 75% of people do exactly that from what I have seen. For a recent example, when I made my price suggestion for gabes glasses (2.66-3) there was about 3-4 people selling at 2.66 while all the rest sat at 3. Next day after the new price, a boatload of sellers at 2.66.
But you would think unusual sellers wouldn't be bound to prices set on this website. Certainly what you are saying is true for regular items.
Well, take this for example: this is valued between 2.5 and 3. If you put a B/O of 4, people will still offer at backpack.tf and unless the hat is rare AND very much sought after, you will eventually have to take the offers you get (if you care about selling yours, that is).
I think my surprise is in how much people follow bp.tf price despite how unusual values are set (in USD instead of keys/buds). People obviously follow this website for regular items. I just didn't expect this much for unusuals.
