Like most of their other unusuals, they never made an post for it anywhere, so there's no proof of offers.

It's EXTREMELY uncertain whatever it was sold for, apparently the trade involved a P. Fetti Modest and a P. Fetti Luchadore traded along the Bunsen Brave, but the only new items are 4 pure buds. The owner was an unusual collector and had a high value backpack, and the fact that several of their unusuals are unpriced and traded away very frequently, coupled with a lack of posts makes it very hard to know what it sold for.

It's since then been in a private backpack. The only known sale was 4 months ago, and it's still a 1/1.

I'll quote what polar bear said on the forums, "If the hat is an old/rare hat with one sale in many months (>3 months), then it is acceptable to set a flat price and it will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis (depending on how comparable the sale is to previous offers)".

Priced at 6 buds would get it between Power Surge and Phos, quite high for a P. Fetti, but I dunno, let's see how this goes.

IMO the proof is not sufficient. There's no need to suggest a new price on these "facts".

I said I don't think he needs to make THIS suggestion due to a lack of/weak proof. If 6 buds is true, then simply somebody overpayed a lot... That's it. I would prefer waiting for the second sale if it ever happens. If not, well... it's not a problem due to "rarity".

Sale is from the hype period, no? On top of that like you said nearly impossible to track down the other sale without firsthand confirmation. I would have steered clear on this one personally. I don't think I see its true value being near that much, even if the bunsen is a popular hat.

How can it be an outlier if the damn thing has only been traded twice?

Find me a handful of people(who would want the hat) willing to go 6 on it. Not just one person who paid 6 buds for it when it was a brand new unusual and the first one of its kind.

Also, 3 month old sale, the price is already outdated and would require new sales for a current and accurate price. No purpose in suggesting a price that is probably too high if it isn't being traded or sold anyway.

Well the Beams Jefe recently increased by about 8 buds based on a single sale. You could say that he/she overpaid, and you'd probably be right. But the main thing is that it is proof of what it can sell for, regardless of what others make of this price.

But yeah, I do agree on this being a bit outdated.
