Yes. But the team captain is just a normal hat drop. Doesn't mean it price should be the same as the mongolian. The availability might be the same, but due to higher demand it's prices can be and apparently are higher than others.

probably some people noticed this but if weps were to increase to 1 scrap then in essence it would cost 2 scrap to smelt the weps into 1 scrap.

nobody would smelt anymore and the game would be full of weps and metal will begin to become rare

While many may complain that "Oooo all weapons are going up"...No. that is not the case. The Loose cannon is rare on Scrap.tf and if appears, will be snatched immediately. Loose cannons are hard to find at 1 weapon, nearly impossible. Will the Boston Basher, another weapon go from .5-.11? No. It's available and not the most popular weapon. No problem. However, it's not that people don't know what they're talking about, it is merely due to the fact that this price suggestion is the "new", so to speak. Weapons usually don't rise to 1 scrap. They've always remained at 1 weapon, sold at a scrap for a profit. However, to leave that norm (Or what we're comfortable with), is something many feel uneasy about, which is why there are downvotes, EVEN IF SOLID PROOF IS RIGHT THERE.

tl;dr: It's weird seeing a weapon for a scrap, as it has never happened, but changes are common in this kind of economy.

Even though I don't understand it...doesn't a direct grenade launcher hit do more damage than a double donk because, yes it is a mini crit, but the target uses to be pushed away a bit so it doesn't do the full damage?

Well with the right timing, a double donk can OHKO 125-health classes, something that the stock grenade launcher can't do. Plus, the knockback is very nice since it still affects ubers, and cannon jumping is sooooo good.

Just like Blender said, right timing = super kills. Not to mention that you can go further cannon jumping than grenade jumping. Oh and check STAR_'s video out about how he can make the loose cannon O.P. :)

Again as i usually say for this: It's quite interesting if this comes trough, weapon trading is the base for new traders, this could help new traders get a little extra kickstart in getting metal, also maybe this might help get metal in demand more?

And I did point out that one person that was selling for 1 weapon insta-sold. Scrap.tf and scrapbank.me almost never has them in stock either. If they do, they get snagged almost immediately.

Once someone on a trade server was buying one for a rec, I was lucky enough to get to the trade button and trade them first, so I got a rec for one.

Not really. It's not as if there's a huge rule stating, "YOU MUST USE LOOSE CANNON FOR CRAFTING OR U DY LEOLEOLE." My guess is people just wouldn't prefer to use those weps in crafting over others.

It's easy to sell at the 1 scrap price since no one sells them 1:1 with other weapons (maybe a few) And also it's probably because a lot of people want to try it out since it's sort of new. So I think this shouldn't go up but good proof and nice effort!

It's very possible to buy weapons for weapons, (Mainly scrap.tf and scrapbank.me) but they almost never have them so....
