The KE sale happened over a month, and almost two months ago. I usually disclude sales that old.
For rare hats with rare sales, it's important to get as many data points as possible. But multi-hat sales like that shouldn't be used to price it anyways since it assumes accuracy of all hats involved, and that's a lot to ask.
One of the currently active trades has that offer of 5 buds + logo tyrants (2.3-2.7), which is exactly the price you suggested. However, that offer was rejected, so maybe this hat can be worth more? Not sure where to go from there though...
OP's method of overpay doesn't make sense. He is applying overpay to both sides but not to the front runner?
Taking face values, price should be a bud higher. IT would be best to wait.
