It's my first suggestion and I am fairly confident...

Skip down to bottom for quick explanation.

Current price is 0.05-0.11 refined or 1 weapon- 1 scrap and is a 5 month old price.

I am suggesting a bump to 1 full Scrap (0.11)

The Power Up Canteen costs 4 scrap (0.44) to craft

http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Power_Up_Canteen

I am aware there are 20,000+ in existence, but selling it for 12.5-25% of cost to craft is ridiculous and there are not many sellers out there as they make zero profit, but rather a loss, nor are there many buyers since you would only ever need one of these unless you are a collector of some sort. You would only need one because, as an all class item, one can be equipped to all classes for MvM. It's only main purpose is for MvM and people just craft their own to use for just that purpose (waste of an action slot otherwise- High Five!) and will be set for the rest of their MvM career. So this item is rarely dealt in, but those who sellers don't want to sell their 4 scrap piece of crap for 1 weapon like recommended.

The only plausible reason why it could have a minimum of 0.05 refined right now is se of the sheer amount in existence, but then you would have to admit that those who have them use them, so they are a weird commodity in this sense.

A very hard to find sellers and buyer kind of item. There is literally NO ONE actively/purposefully buying it on any trade site. Nearly all sellers are scrap bankers asking for 0.11 minimum (too many to list), rest are the unique individuals asking for 0.22.

This item is not marketable on the steam market so you cannot find it there. Very hard to find buyers and sellers, but judging from the small amount of individuals out there who are actually trying to sell it, the minimum price is indeed 0.11 minimum.

^Thanks to KoDoRiN

There were 20+ scrap bankers selling it for 0.11 when I searched it up on trade.tf and the likes! but couldn't get any links down despite logged in.

Most trades of this item can then be assumed to be traded in-game without any records left on trade sites.

Thank you for reading this all you out there who have done so. Please up vote this.

There is simply no one selling for less than 1 scrap out there, but not too many selling either, as this is the kind of item that people only need to craft one of and then keep (for MvM) so there is not much dealing in them. BUT considering they cost 4 scrap to make, it shouldn't be less than one scrap.

Doesn't seem like the time and effort to give this an upvote. Whilst yes you've written valid points on this item, it's obvious people couldn't care less about this item. (As shown by Shawnster suggestion and your 1st proof "Selling this piece of garbage".) Also you need a little bit more of everything, you could write the longest paragraph and yes ill admit has valid points, but it still requires proof, A LOT MORE PROOF. A lot of the time, your opinion is irrelevant to people. I believe people are buying these Canteens for craft numbers, not the actual item. This item is a drop, rarely on all occasions will someone need to purchase one. So to explain the 0.05 price, it's because they're rarely brought.

Good first attempt though, I just recommend more proof though

The suggestion from 1 year ago by Shawnster has literally no proof and got 92% proof. But merely his comment of "I've seen people buying them @20 for a scrap"

Seems legit and totally. to pulled out of his ass.

    Gotten 92% up vote*

Totally not pulled out of his ass*

Doesn't mean you can have this amount of proof, that was a year ago.

Ok? The one accepted last time, 5 months ago, the current price, only has 3 sales listed,

    Need solds mate.

Actually two of the links has them sold and has since been closed. Either that or I gotten some different links.

The link on bazaar.tf had it sold.

Because I feel like being nice.

Thank you, will edit in when it lets me.

you have next to no proof. I thought this was a downvote for sure, but then I actually checked outpost.. there are next to none of these, let olone some for 0.05 upvote from me, you have proved that 0.11 is commonly traded

A weird explanation for an upvote. But please look at the links, they are adequate proof, with some bought and sold as well. Compare this to the suggestion from 1 year ago.

I meant that the logic around your suggestion was that it costs 4 scrap to craft. TF2 doesnt have logic xD But yes your proof is adequate to support 0.11

It does cost 4 scrap to craft. There are hundreds of thousands of these in existence, but only 20k-30k were crafted, others were the achievement drop.

The voting system is so dumb... Don't complain about me having "no proof" look at the two earliest suggestions that got accepted... One has no proof, other has two links. There obviously needs to be some requirements for these to get passed, other than just plain votes on 2 sentences.

Eh... Not a lot of proof here. There are sales happening at a wep just as there are sales at more than a wep. 1 scrap does seem to be the most commonly traded price. Going with the community vote in this close situation, even though even the community vote is divided
