So it seems that 2.5 is a common B/O for this Unusual, which is why it is the high end. There was a seller who was also willing to sell for 2.05 and a sale for 1.5, which supports the low end.

I can already see its different than changing a price after all this as with that massive price range, but maybe this suggestion will start to stabilize how this hat is on the market. Thanks.

all went to "S. Unusuals" from the same user and back to that user? almost certainly the same person on an alt. so clearly there was some pure added to the billycock, which is 1.4 actually not 1.6. you use current values of unusuals to give current values to hats, you don't find out what the price used to be.

so now i'm confused. you've written 2.3 mixed, he originally said 2.5 pure. what's the actual deal? and also he seems to have bought the billy for a bud from this guy http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19243544, whilst the tam doesn't have that guy on the history, so i'm not sure the billy was involved in anything to do with the tam.

also 12 keys and 18 in items would be 1.4. given 3 other sales at more than 2 (probably, confusion still around the billycock or not sale), i'd say go for 2-2.5 based on the aussies trade and the pure sale.

I only write what the other people tell me. The guy who sold it for 2.3 in mixed originally said 2.5 but later corrected himself. However, I accidentally closed the trade before taking a screen shot, sorry. And I'm not sure what you mean on your second point.

my point is i don't see where the billycock with memory leak comes into the picture with the tam o shanter because Bro Fist sells it to Jenkin, and UT Gamer sells the tam to Bro fist, and buys the billy from jenkin, so it's becoming even harder to work out what this has sold for.

The high end may be a tad high (2.5 sale is 2 months old), but this has offers around 2 on current trades, so I can't call it an outlier. The wider range here probably captures its value.
