Suggestion: Mann Co. Supply Crate Key at 7.55 ref

I don't see the proof that they speak of. But, keys are control value by the man co. store's price to ref. I think this is a good suggestion however, I can see why new players think this is crazy. Upvote.

hm, I suggest having a bit more variety in proof rather than just buyers.

I'm pretty sure you are required to provide all sales within the last 24 hours on a suggestion along with buyers.

"Needs" a raise (don't like them moving up) but still i think the same way needs more then buyers remaining neutral until further proof/variety is shown.

You have a lot of 7.55 ref buyers, mixed with a couple 7.66 buyers, but it would help more to disprove 7.44 being a commonly sold price(very necessary), as well as having people who've bought at 7.55 (not necessarily needed, but it helps).

yea you just need to resuggest this one with proof of 7.44's being quicksells, otherwise your buying proof is great

I would encourage you to make what you feel to be the accurate suggestion now. We have a cooldown rule in place. You won't be able to suggestion 7.66 flat for 3 days (or 7.55-7.66 for a week) if this gets accepted.

Why don't we use the scrap.tf's keybot as proof? There's no reason to sell at 7.44 unless you don't know about such things.

Bots are not people. They do not negotiate. They will always be used to buy and sell one scrap off what the current price is.

I was saying that is't buying AT 7.55, which is the high end of the current price. This is more proof of it being the correct time to jump up.

If scrap.tf had that much power (controlling the prices here by what they buy/sell from), that'd be kinda iffy, don't you think?

They are one individual site, so it is difficult to judge pricings by that.

You need sellers too. Only buyers are not enough. It is only enough to clean 7.44 but i'm pretty sure you can't find much sellers at 7.55. I don't want to make a currency suggestion as counter since i'm inexperienced as suggestor. But current "common" price is 7.66 flat as everybody knows. i can buy and sell at 7.66 easly. Selling at 7.55 is pretty quick(less than 10 minutes). Maybe somebody makes a new one ?

yes, everyone is selling they´re keys at 7.55 but there´s a problem. If we increase the value at 7.55 everyone will sell their keys at 7.66, then a vote, then 7.77 etc, etc, etc.

If you looked at the proof, those are people buying at 7.55 and 7.66, not people selling. So your complaints don't really work

Your logic hurts me. If refined metal drops, why would keys drop. The only reason keys are rising is because of more refined metal being introduced into the game and becoming less valuable. Meanwhile less people are buying keys off of the market and keys are becoming less common.

ok, + to you, about that there is many ref in game, but still new players can't afford that much ref(some of them) give away for keys, even i have problems to produce ref

This seems pretty reasonable, most people have rounded up and are selling keys for 7.66. Even those are becoming rarer and rarer.

Lots of proof, and in this case, buyers speak louder than sellers.

Some suggestions to make it easier for people to read/analyze:

Sort the prices, its kinda hard to read as it is.

Different types of proof are always preferred. (buyers as well as sellers. proof from outpost, bazaar, classifieds, market, etc.)

In the proof there are 24 people buying for 7.66 Ref and Only 82 people buying for 7.55 Ref.

As I've seen elsewhere, it's peoples faults they keep buying at marginally higher prices, which then backpack.tf reflects the value of said key.

Also, more refined available brings down the value of it a little, making keys worth more.

Refined metal is being made everyday. So the key won't be very stable in price. Of course if this raises outrageously, and it becomes profitable to buy from the Mann Co. Store, by then the key will stabilize, if not drop.

Also, bp.tf does not control the key prices. It's determined by all players, and how they buy and sell.

7.33 is still quite possible, 7.44 is still very possible, downvote.

Some evidence of your claim would be helpful--I haven't bought for anything less than 7.66 since the last key suggestion

I'll see if I can find it in my History.

I haven't seen a key in 7.33 that wasn't swooped up immediately in weeks.

The only place I see 7.44 is in buying trades and, uncommonly, on trade servers.

It would help to show 100% that 7.44 ref is out of the picture, as the range may stay in place :/

What people are having a hard time realizing is that we're not setting the price here on BP.tf. BP.tf is for setting the spreadsheet to what the community is buy/selling these items at. 7.55-7.66 is where keys should be, and it's not just me owning keys saying that. I'd buy a key at 7.55 any day of the week.

A few @ 7.44. I'm not reselling keys, so didn't have more metal to buy more keys. But after I reopened my trade, didn't have to wait so much before they added me.

seeing all the posts on op i would say 7.66 - 7.88 i had hard time finding people with 7.66 yesterday.

You need sales too. Not boughts.

I sold two today for 7.66 in under 2 minutes maybe, person added me so fast I thought it was a phishing add and nearly blocked them.

that's been happening a lot to me lately with people adding me right away.
