Time to lower the price of another weapon that lost hype. And before you start complaining there's no proof for sellers at 0.05 ref, I'll just quote the words of one of the mods:

Closed trades don't always mean that these were sold. On tf2tp.com we can't even see the history of the items. As for your outpost trades I see only 2 of them changed owner or were removed from the trade. I think if it takes more than a week to sell a weapon it can count as unsold.

TF2TP - The items show Deleted when you mouse over them if they were sold/changed owners.

Outpost - I was told on a comment in a past suggestion that an assumption is made that it was sold if it's a completed trade or a removed from trade item. Otherwise, I'd agree with you completely... I don't get it personally... but that's what I was told.

some more proof u can get are checking scrap.tf bots and seeing if they have any huntsmen in stock, if they do have them in stock then people do treat them like a normal weapon and not a scrap weapon.

Yep, there are currently 9 huntsmen on scrap.tf. But unfortunately mods don't accept the scrapbanking sites as proof :(

Maybe not officially, but for voters it's not a bad thing to consider.

Come on, don't let me start explaining again how people are selling ANY weapon for 1 scrap. Distinctively Vincent said, "'0.05 sellers' aren't something that can be realistically expected to be provided". Also, try to show me an example of any weapon that dropped to 0.05 ref value that had sellers at 0.05 ref as proof.

I suggest moderating scrap.tf and see how many huntsman they have in stock.

If it's very few within an hour, I'll downvote. If it's easy to get, I'll upvote

Mods don't accept scrap.tf as proof unfortunately. Also scrap.tf is very poor on any sniper and spy weapons. I know this, because I regularly use it for creating collector's weapons (have 5000+ trades there). Nevertheless, it still has 10 huntsmen right now.

Also, I wouldn't say unfortunately. A lot of traders don't really pay attention to weapon prices... they just see "Buying 2 for a scrap" or "Selling this one for a scrap," and if it's a weapon that they want/need, they'll buy it for that price. My point is... scrap.tf isn't really a good price change source because people have no clue about trading weapons, otherwise... I've seen .22 weapons end up on scrap.tf before while everybody else was still making sales at .22 - .33 with them.

Yep, you're right here. Hell, I bought a festive sniper riffle from there for 1 pain train :D So maybe it's correct to use it as support proof.

I once got a strange Spy-cicle off of scrap.tf, so clearly people have no clue about trading weapons. I've also seen a Botkiller Sniper and I think a Botkiller Medi Gun.

Although i have sold a couple huntsman for a scrap each it does take way too long and they are common enough on scrap.tf

I think every unique weapon that isn't found by item drop should be 0.05 ref. Upvoted not because of the reason I just said, but because I agree with Vincent. It's also really hard to sell weapons for a scrap when you have scrap.tf. You only sell it for a scrap when trading on a pub server.

Wait... So your saying items that MUST BE CRAFTED like Awper Hand, Sharp Dresser, Maul etc. should be 0.05 ref? I'm not sure if this is a typo, but I think you mean "every unique weapon that is found by item drop should be 0.05 ref".

you are right same goes with the rescue ranger that WAS like a few month's ago 1 scrap but ther are only selling them for 1 scrap on outpost that goes with every weapon (escept the once you have to craft) sow just upboat upgoat upvote whatever

If I can sell three Huntsmans in less than an hour for an scrap each, it doesn't need a lowering.

Weapons are supposed to be 0.05 ref each. There was a hype for this one because it's a part of the crafting recipes for the new weapons. But since you can now get most of them for just 1 scrap, the hype is over.
