Sorry that it doesn't have anything to do with this, But what exactly these cursed voodoo items?
Maybe the Halloween is Started again and These Voodoo-cursed items will be Available to craft later on. And Due a fact valve got a 3 hours delay on gift it should be Harder and rarely to get it
You can craft the pile of curse and then get a zombie skin from it. (koth_lakeside_event)
Ah, Thanks for the help ^^
No Problem. Have a nice day tho.
halloween event got implemented yesterday, nothing new yet, but old stuff is out to mess with
should all of these things be the same price since they all do the same exact thing?
yes, but people make no sense and buy things for more.
why does it make no sense? what if people are only charging more then what its worth, now what is the item worth?
Actually, a bunch of them have slightly different drop rates I thought?
That's not really the point, if it does the same exact thing, it wouldn't seem to matter. I'm not trying to defend that fact that they should be the same value, just pointing out that i think they should be.
In TF2, one thing that is NOT an absolute indicator of value determination is what something actually does. Rarity is king in many cases.
What I'm trying to say is that if they all do the same thing, and 1 is more expensive then the other, why would you buy the one that is more expensive?
Because they're collectors and they want a set. It's not like these things are even very useful at all, it's more the novelty of still having them.
You do realize you aren't able to keep these items, right? They do expire. For someone to buy a set of these and just keep them would be utterly stupid.
You do realize that they won't expire if you don't start up tf2 and there isn't an item server check, right? How do you think so many people kept crates for so many years before they patched the old crates?
Ok, and how would that make it valuable? To trade, your item server has to be connected to you, otherwise items won't transfer. Therefore you cannot trade these "rare" items, which completely decimates the fact of it being worth much to anything.
That's only when you trade ingame. If you're new to the rare item trading game, it may seem a little crazy, but it works. That's why people kept and traded naughty and nice crates for YEARS after they technically expired, and also why they now exist at all.
To trade you need to have connection to your item server, I trade about 20-30 times a day, and whenever item servers are down, we can go into a trade, but we can't actually add the items into the trade.
It's possible that it's only a tf2 item check, not a steam inventory one. Regardless, I know it works because I did it for years. Here's an old link to a tutorial on how to do it: http://www.tf2pricecheck.net/Thread-GUIDE-How-to-collect-expired-items-crates-and-keys
Stop arguing, you're wrong about this on all accounts. Just trust that it can happen and these can be traded if you don't actually load the game up. It's called trade offers obviously.
i guess you don't seem to realize i stopped commenting 2 days ago cause i could care less?
We could care less that you care less.
Don't you mean I couldn't care less?

some are getting sold for 0.22 and some are available for 0.11 (even lower if buying multiple items). I think 0.11-0.33 should be a better range for this.
Thanks for the Information. I will resuggest.
