the 4 buds and 10 key offer wasn't declined. it was retracted (user hid their own post). The mini on the tricorne is rather shaky.

While it the 4.6 bud offer was retracted, the hat still hasn't sold. The link you provided is a completely "different" hat (still a Tricorne and the same effect). Cautious fox has the hat in his backpack.

And in the link you provided, it sold a number of times:

First it went to "I've made a horrible mistake ;-;" who sold it for ~5 buds then,

it went to "manlet status" who sold for 5 buds then,

it went to "the irish guy" who sold for 5 buds then,

it went to "ulysses" who asked for offers and received two offers from "dark5747". His initial offer was 3 buds pure and an U. Head Warmer with Stormy Storm which was declined. He then tried 4 buds pure and the Head Warmer and while "Ulysses" said that he was hiding for space, the Tricorne is in "dark5747's" backpack. However the plot thickens.

The Unusual Head Warmer is still in dark's backpack but so is the Tricorne.

Now in Ulysses' backpack, the Tricorne is gone, the Head Warmer isn't there... but wait there's more. The 4 new buds in his inventory aren't from Dark, they're from other people. so how did dark get the hat? #spooky

tl;dr - the mini for SF Tricorne... is at best, 5 buds, and at worst, inconclusive. However, I truly believe that a 5 bud mini is sufficient making this suggestion valid; of course, that's just me.

the link i provided was the guy that received the tricorne+1.5 buds for the FFF. Can you actually show that it sold for 5 buds in any of those transactions?

I highly doubt 3 different traders would pay 5 buds for it in a week simply to relist it for 5 buds again. Especially after it sat with a 4.5 buyout for 2 weeks.

I've been away for a while, and yes I know the mini for the Tricorne is wrong. I'll fix it later, for now downvote for free rep, I suppose.

Was offered 3 buds + Stormy Head Warmer and declined. That's ~4.5, and he bumped his offer up by a bud (then retracted)

Checked bp history, unsure exactly what it sold for, but 5 is a safe estimate.

I'm still inclined to say that 5 flat is too high considering that the 4.5 buyout lasted 2 weeks but we'll see what a mod says.

The Sale for the Scorching Big Chief was technically a quicksale as the owner I got it from was collecting scorching hats, and did in fact know it could sell for more, however in desperation to complete his collection he 1:1ed it
