I know that there isn't a lot of buyers, but the demand for refined is so low, you barely find ANY refined buyers, I've seen quite a lot of refined sell as high as $.12, and personally myself, I sold a lot for $.10 and have seen a lot of people bought their refined for $.10. Feel free to counter with my suggestion, I may improve the range.
Wait, so your low end comes from one seller selling ONE refined?
I sold my 50+ refined 2 weeks ago for $.10. But a lot of buyers are paying $.10 and have bought a lot, so I don't see what wrong with $.10 being the low end. If you read my last few sentences you will understand why the low end is $.10.
Then you need proofs for that you have sold them .
I can show my paypal transaction that had notes that the buyer bought the refined for $.10 each? And if you look at the outpost trades you can see people commenting on the buyers' thread like, "Added, have X amount of ref to sell"
For exmaple, here: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25206046
Not sure basing your low end on buyers is much of a smart idea, whatever.
If you actually checked out the trades you would see lots of people sold their refined at that price. I know since you have like 90 refined you wouldn't like the price to drop, but $.10-$.12 is the going price for this.
You're also lowering it by 3 cents... which at the current price is about 1/5 of it's price, for a currency.
one of the your 0.12 sellers has 4 ref, hardly what I call 'stock'. The other has about 50. Now I really don't understand how 54 ref which is what 4-5 keys between them should determine the market for refined metal, especially considering it's the base currency and will result in such a domino effect on all other items.
One of the sellers I listed are also selling theirs for $.11 and has 800.
The price obviously dropped, maybe I should change the range but NO way does it sell for $.13-$.15, no one buys them at that price anymore.
yes 0.13-0.15 is out of the picture, putting it at 0.12 would be a lot more accurate.
Maybe .11-.12, I have 2 sellers @.11, however one of them is out of stock.
If he's outta stock, probably means 11 goes to fast.. better off with either 12 flat
the one with .11 has 800 refined left.
Oh.. Well, I'm not saying he's lying about his stock, but he only has 35 refined in his backpack, and less then 1000 hours in tf2. I feel like someone who trades via paypal regularly would have a lot more hours in tf2 than the 600 something he has.
He (probably) sold it all, also just because someone doesn't have 1000+ hours of TF2 doesn't mean that they don't paypal trade regularly. I know lots of people who paypal trade regularly and dont have THAT much hours, I do PP trades too and I only have 750+.
I know, just personally would rather not take my chances with someone who doesn't have many hours, not saying the amount of hours would be the final factor of my decision, just not really sure on what I think about. Definitely not disagreeing that refined should be where it is, definitely needs a drop. Just not sure how much of a drop.
Then I guess .11-.12 is the better price range for refined.
