Suggestion: Earbuds at 9 keys

This was all the proof I could find in the first 20 pages of sellers on outpost. Sorry if there are any duplicate links or if I missed some trades.

Conclusion: Not alot of 9.5 Key sellers, in fact there are probably more selling for 10 Keys. There a few sellers below 9 Keys, aswell as quite a few more for more than 9.5 Keys. I don't think anything above 9 Keys actually sells right now, so I'll leave it at 9 Keys flat.[/b]

Good counter proof, or supportive proof is appreciated. If you comment something about the economy I will cut off your hands.

Well, it IS 3 hours til the 3 day cooldown mark, maybe mods will let you keep it up. I think 3 days is the mark for .5 keys and more, while its 7 for anything less. Ill have to recheck

Just checked, it's 3 days. If we're talking 3 hours I'm not doing anything.

So yeah it is 3 days for a .5 key change. So mods may let you keep this up since it's less than 3 hours til the 3 day mark. I'd just recommend adding more proof if you can find it to make sure it shows 9 keys flat is definately needed to reflect market.

I alter the price by 0.5 Keys, so I only need to wait 3 days. Theres only 3 hours until it's been that long so I'm fine I guess.

Conclusions

9 keys seems to me to be the most common trading point at the moment. 10 and 9.5 clearly no longer happen frequently, as showed by the massive number of unsolds at those price points, and the wide availability between 8 and 9 keys. However, there are not enough sellers below 9 to justify a drop to 8 or 8.5. I can definitely see a drop to 8 in the next week or so, but for the moment I feel that a conservative drop based on the wide availability of sellers at the price point is the most appropriate.

let me tell you something about bp.tf classifieds.as that is where I saw this alt account first time yesterday.If I was really interested I would have save his main account too and share it with you guys.but that is a very very common tactic by sharkers to drop the prices of what they want to trade for.

scammers use this to create a panic so they can buy cheaper merchant for them to resell in steam market.this does not only happens with buds but keys bills and everything you see here available for sell.

the specific guy had the buds transfered back to his main account after I report his listing for not selling his items.the listing was up for about 4 hours until removed.that is enough to create some panic to some kids with buds.

Now imagine the same tactics with unusual hats.All comes down to this classifieds can be easily manipulated so you can create trends.the only thing you need is some expendable alt accounts.thats all it takes to create some panic.

here is another alt of him http://backpack.tf/trust/76561198204454268 .you can see they are building false trust for a paypal scamm probably. you will end up to a somewhat big unusual trader scammer if you follow the histories of the items. its quite easy to do so by browsing the history of their bp's and notice the trust they leave one to another.

bottom line is some trades are not trades are just manipulative tactics and its done with bp.tf's green light since you don't need to prove that the trades actually occure but its enough to paste some random links of guys that quicksell.

for such a common item as earbuds are .this is a piece of cake.

tl;dr bp.tf is half responsible for buds prices -which they will keep on rolling to no end- and half responsible are the scammer community which will use those low priced buds to buy your real rare items for joke prices.

I had some reservations about some of the earlier suggestions and their lack of good proof...but great job, THIS is what a bud suggestion should look like :) (I'm sure you know that though, but I just thought it as deserving of praise.)

Buds were going to drop anyways (RIP), but this is the right way to drop them.

All this undercutting to increase sales is crazy.

At this point it's undercutting to get rid of all the buds you have before they lose half of what's left of their value. They're already becoming readily available at 8 keys. I wouldn't be surprised if they hit 5 in a month at this accelerating rate. Once they dropped below 10 almost everyone who still had confidence in buds lost it.

U really think price higher than 9 keys can sell. I personally sell earbud for 9 keys with autobump and still can't sell any of them in the whole day. I don't think u can sell it higher than 9 keys. Try buy one from me and sell it for 9 keys.

Some of theese aren't sold. And thoose which have sold are old trades, they've probably had multiple Buds and been selling forever.

I saw a guy selling 30 buds for 8 keys here at bp. Not to mention countless of other sales below 9. I really never understood why classifieds has never been considered part of the trading proof when it's clear what people are selling their stuff for. I am not saying they compose the entire trading scene, but we can't just ignore it either. Whatever the case, buds seem to go down anyways so you had my upvote from the start.

Well, alot of the sellers below 9 Keys on classifieds are the same seller listing all his Buds.

If someone had 50 Buds and listed them all for 5 Keys and filled up multiple pages right now, would you say a drop to 5 Keys is needed? No, atleast I hope you'd say so. I know there are multiple selling lower, but there are still alot more at 9 Keys, and you can especially see that when looking on outpost. When I run down the market again tomorrow there might be more 8 Key sellers, we'll see.

What are the chances of casually browsing classifieds and finding 5 key buds? Assuming someone did sold 50 buds @ 5 keys I can assure you, they won't be there for more than 15 minutes. Making the range automatically invalid.

But when you can casually browse tf2o and bp and find buds for less than 9 keys at all times... then something's definitely up.

You've still got double as many 9 Keys sellers, I don't know for sure. Tomorrow I'll look through the market again, if the amount of 9 Key sellers has fallen and the amount of 8 Key sellers has risen, then 9 Keys don't sell.

If 9 Keys keep being the majority, it might need to be a range, but right now I think being conservative is the best way to go.

yeah i was thinking about doing a range but for every five 8 key sales im sure there is one 9 key sale, and as the days go on its becoming more easy to get at 8 and harder to sell at 9.
