FYI This is my first suggestion so please let me know what I did wrong of what I can improve on, thanks! (thought I might do a refined suggestion with actual proof this time, so many suggestions without any proof what-so ever that others have posted. -_- )
EDIT:
A few sales from what I can see
Nothing in the note but people have bought from these looking at the trade confirmation check and them confirming that they added to buy:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/24900967 12
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/21524556 12
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25518082 few sales for 11
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25411018 12
Have any of the sellers actually sold?

Sellers mean nothing when raising, people will always highball
needs solds/ buyers above 10
He does have buyers at 10, which means this does need a raise. But he also needs sales at a higher price.
How does one go about tracking if they have sold any? Other than actually adding the seller.
Thanks for the heads-up! I will take that into consideration next time, I thought sellers would be the most crucial after looking at a few other suggestions.
Those are for lowering, thus it needs Sellers bellow current price.
what is Outliers?
In statistics, an outlier is an observation point that is distant from other observations. An outlier may be due to variability in the measurement or it may indicate experimental error; the latter are sometimes excluded from the data set.
I'll jst use an example:
Regular soda poppers sell for .11 ref, right?
Well there was 1 that sold at 7 ref, so the price has to go up.
No necessarily, read the definition, if a soda popper sold for 7 ref it does NOT mean the price would go up just with one sale, it would be an outlier, a piece of data that just doesn't fit in or is a drastic difference from the average.
Yea.... That's what i was telling him... Way to go reading!
The price doesnt go up, the sale at 7 would be an outlier, meaning its unrealistic.
Ugh. I was showing him an EXAMPLE of an outlier, and why it shouldn't be used in a suggestion. Can't you guys use your brains?
You clearly said "Well there was 1 that sold at 7 ref, so the price has to go up."
The 7 ref sale is an outlier, why should it go up for that.
And insulting us like that shows how much you know of manners.
Yes. I took the role of a newbie trader, someone he can relate to, who is just getting in to suggestions. Your downvoting 4 no reason shows nice manners as well. (Speakin' of which, I asked if you could use your brains. That's a legitimate question.)
Okay, then say that you were taking the role of a newbie trader, you were using an "example" and saying the price should go up. Either write it properly or people are going to get confused.
Downvoting? Where? And of course you put it on me.
The downvoting wasn't directed at you, it was directed at those who followed a similar line of thought. Don't try to make me look worse than I am.
"I'll just use an example:
Regular soda poppers sell for .11 ref, right?
Well there was 1 that sold at 7 ref, so the price has to go up."
1: He asks what an outlier is.
2: I show an example of an outlier.
~Any problems?
You're down voting me just because we corrected your example? Kinda biased?
I never downvoted you m8.
You were making me look bad, same goes to you, insulting me, that I cant use my brain.
That's not an example of an outlier.
You have to define it properly or people will think what you said the same way I told you.
An outlier is an unrealistic sale. If many people sell a soda popper at 1 scrap, and 1 sells at 7 ref, that is an outlier.
I wasn't answering the question for you guys, I was telling him, in a way he'd understand. Either way, I'm done with this.
Need solds for raising prices; sales for dropping
Need sales for raising prices; sellers for dropping.
FTFY.
why is $0.11 an outlier?
Where? I listed 14, 17, an 20 as outliers. I recommend that you learn t read, it helps.
If there's sales at 11 cents, why isn't that in the range?
I think my supposed range is better. We'll wait for the mods to decide.
i agree
