Here we go, first suggestion.

I traded my 1/4 P.Fetti Slick cut for a Massed Flies Pot

Slick Cut traded at 25 key before overpay (After overpay is applied, ~17-18 keys) + 3 keys + 34 ref, for Massed Flies Pot (4buds/22keys)

for 1 of 4, only trade I've ever seen for this hat, seems like a decent suggestion to me. Any tips for my suggestion?

To be clear: After overpay made my slick worth 17-18, then added 5 pure to get to B/O price.

As said below, Pot is outdated (B/O of 22 keys doesn't mean sold at 22, for example there is an unsold B/O at 3 buds = 16 keys here http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/25552938 )

Moreover, x + 5 = 22 -> x = 17 keys, so why suggesting a price of 25?

I offered to buy at the current price. But I was asking him his b/o as 16 keys seemed low. I assumed his price for buds was outdated (3=21 instead of 3=16) so I offered my slick cut in anticipation of this. I assumed his price was outdated so i offered my slick cut in anticipation of that. then 25 overpay ->21 seems fair. His was posted on April 1st, when buds were still a wacky, so 3->21 seems likely.

When making a suggestion, you can account for overpay by doing the returned hat's value *0.9. If the hat you are pricing is the offered hat, overpay does not need to be applied.

If you offered the fetti cut on the pot, it would be [Price pot] - 5

This would mean it'd be ~13.5 - 5, which would be 8.5. Im willing to believe this is too low, so I guess you should wait for more sales before you can price this.

The Pot is outdated, so its current price isn't a good reflection of its market, so you need to update it. It's essentially an unusual suggestion within an unusual suggestion. ~~its the reason why I don't suggest for unusuals~~
