Villain's Veil has a strangifier that can be used on unusuals and only costs a few keys. In this case, strange variants can only be unboxed making them more rare and thus more valuable.than its non strange variant.

To my knowledge there is no way to price the strange version of this hat. Compared to the non-strange version. Due to this if this is accepted the strange version will pick up the price of the non strange version. Is there a real reason to not put a range on this? Or just let the strange one suffer the price of the non strange version

Hmm, I guess that's a flaw in the system with not being able to price dual quality items. Pricing it with a range wouldn't really make sense though since it's stating that a non strange variant can sell for 1300 when it's 775 but it's also saying a strange variant is only worth 775 when it's actually 1300. Doesn't seem logical to put a range but at the same time, as you said, it's not exactly fair for the strange variant to be priced the same. I'm not sure what the best course of action is but I'd be interested to see what the mods would say.

Edit: I think with the past items that could only be strange through being unboxed in that quality, its value wasn't really impacted significantly by being strange. In this case though, damnnn that's a lot

It's the same with certain duped items. For example, duped Vintages are 30%-50% of the price of clean ones, but are priced equally on backpack.tf.

Just curious how you arrived at 775 from [650, 650, 650, 750, 900, 900]. Mean is 750, median is 700.

TC is 650 - 900. Use the mean of range here.

I realize it doesn't matter too much for this particular hat but I would have stuck with the data itself and used 750 instead.

It's not a QS till it actually sells. If it takes weeks or longer to sell, then it's no longer considered a QS.
