Maths seems off on these.
CP Bandana = 33, Bonnet = 58, Stovepipe = 16. That's 107 all together for the MG Hat of Cards
With the Stovepipe that's 140.
140 * 0.9 = 126 (rounding to 125)
And also why are you rounding 95 to 100? 95 is fine.
Should be resuggested at 95-125.
95 is super ugly also i did no overpay on Bonnet as it was quicksold for pure
Why? It needs it. A quicksell isn't a valid mini regardless, thankyou for flagging another issue with this suggestion I hadn't noticed.
Also "95 is ugly" is not a valid reason.
Well you can round it cant you? If i can why not and i was asked Foamy and he said no overpay was needed on Scotch
Rounding is at the suggestor's discretion, mostly. I don't see a problem with it, but others might not agree. C'est la vie.
More sales on the Scotsman (scotch? I'm a little confused now, whichever one QS'd) would be nice. You don't need overpay if it sells for pure quickly, but we want to avoid quicksales, preferably.
You can round to the nearest five for sales below 100 keys. I think you'll find 95 is already rounded to the nearest five.
Either it needs overpay because even if it's a pure sale for the mini, it was part of a bulk sale and therefore should have overpay, OR it's a quicksell and unusable as a mini. There are two options, and neither is what you've done here.
I really don't see the problem you don't apply overpay when pricing an item sold in pure. Also If you disagree with could you find another sale for stoch so i could resuggest. I really don't know how to use scripts so i find it difficult to price dupes.
If it was then traded in bulk for one unusual, yes, you do.
I will check for Scotch sales.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27019638 Another B/O of 60 on the bonnet.
Only other sales (including this sale) are bulk sales.
Putting overpay on 58 fine. 95-125 is the right range here.
BO there is 70 tho, and it has been up for only 3 days.
Either way, applying overpay on it here would mean itll be valued below what it can sell for in pure in a few days, which IMO beats the purpose of overpay.
I think there's no official rules for it anyway (I never apply overpay when my mini is in full pure, especially not if it sold reasonably fast, but I know others do. But on the other hand, I generally update things for my minis rather than searching 1 sale for it :P)
Oh, I've linked the wrong one and now it's too late to edit, dammit. Well, there was another B/O at 60 about.
I feel like you need to consider what the sellers would have said in this situation. If you're taking an unusual that can sell easily for pure 1:1 with yours, do you require overpay? Probably not.
If you're taking three unusuals 3:1 with yours, do you require overpay if they can sell easily for pure? Yes, you do, because reselling three unusuals is more hassle than reselling one.
In this situation, overpay is necessary.
And PS, what am I getting dislikes for? The four of you who've disliked, don't be bloody cowards and tell me why, I'm more than happy to tell you why you're wrong <3
I guess I'd consider it per unusual when Im the one selling something, but that may be just me; sellers intentions vary.
Because the way they consider things vary amongst different sellers, Id say the decision of the suggester to take either of the options shouldnt matter here.
I'd love to be all airy-fairy about it like that, but I'm afraid it's not gonna fly.
From the Bonnet, to the Milkman, to the MG hat of Cards, to THIS Hat of Cards, you're telling me NONE of those trades require overpay? That's just unreasonable. Hell, I'd say only applying it once was conservative.
Im not one of the dislikers, jussayin'
Eh, I guess thats why I hate using sales that require this many minis. A slight mistake in a value anywhere could throw the value off way more than this decision :P
its a fair point, although Id still say not doing overpay on the bonnet is not really wrong here.
Now that I mention it.. The focus is completely on that bonnet, but the real question here should be: are there any other, better usable sales on that mg hat of cards?
I am very surprised im not getting downvoted to Oblivion.
shouldnt round 5 keys just because it's ugly, but I understand not applying overpay on the GE stove because of the pure sale. That said, I'm not seeing anything to do with 33 keys from the links you provided for the GE stove
I accidentally said stove lol i mean Scotch as it was quicksold for pure
oh, yeah, and I also saw that the stove was 1:1'd with the ghosts pith, I was looking for 33 keys pure, my mistake
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27276197
Just wanted to say I quicksold a duped burning Phantom for 114 CS:GO keys + 5 keys ~130 keys, but 115 keys was my B/O
Should i change range or just leave it since that would fall into range
Pffft. It's an outlier and you know it. The owner had no idea that it being duped meant it was worth less. I bought it from him for a 110 key hat and sold it for 105 pure. There's also a current seller at 110.
Valuing it at 100 is fine. So the low end here is okay.
For the milkman. Even if overpay is applied twice (on the milkman and to the HoC), that would be 130.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27164663 - b/o 100
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27292803 - sold for moon merry + vivid ywn ~120
Other sales:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27346658 - burning fro - b/o on the fro was 90 - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27247385
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27177933 - this fro sold for ~90 after overpay, just for completeness
So sales at 90, 100, 130. 90-130 should be okay. It looks like the other suggestion is closer to this value.
