42 + 3 = 45

Crown mini:

Sold for 42 pure

This price seems much more realistic.

I dunno if how the price feels is valid at all

looks like a 120 sale and a 45 sale which would be.... no price wait for next.

heh, I saw this yesterday and was so sure that it was too high (but then again, all the burglerres that were updated are bs, theyre only high since Chuckles started collecting them, eg gbh homme was unsold for a million years at 40 or 45 before, but oh well), but this is too low I guess

I assumed it was accepted because it was the last full pure sale on an 1/1 (couldnt be bothered to research :P) but if youre going to fix/counter it, you can at least list more than 1 sale ;DD

Yea, I think he should use 90 - 120 with that bandanna sale. These other sales seem low.

The Bandana is a year old with no other usable sales

            http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,4493891166,30091,5

            Plenty of sales here

most of them arent usable tho (qses and sweetstakes most of it). Arguably this should be used for the bandana instead, but that too supports that 120 flat would be too high here :P I guess theoretically this should not have been priced at all since sales are all over the place, but now that it has been, it may as well be given a range. but eh, most of that is my opinion really, and I doubt that's any relevant in this situation :P

The range thing sounds interesting. But at the same time, a 75 key range on an unusual this low seems kind of absurd to me

This seems a little low, but 120 is too high. The price is currently awfully complicated, I suggest you close this for now.

And one of these was unsold at 60 for 4 months, lol

        http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/26377647.

Wouldn't I be able to make a range using that?

Not sure, would just close this and wait for more sales. Or, you can leave this up to manipulate the price so it dies on its own,

How on earth am I "manipulating" it's price? It's obvious that 120 is high and, since it's a low tier hat, what else would you expect? I'm not saying this price is perfect, but it's certainly better than one that's above everything else (apart from Scorching, which will drop in its own time).

By manipulate I mean that people on outpost take prices super seriously. When they see this suggestion up, they will all instantly take the value of this hat to be 45, not 120, so this price will reflect onto this in tume

This is only one valid sale? There is more after that

I did do some research about the burglerre becoming a multi class hat when I saw that 120 keys price for this version haha. That price was an obvious outlier that should not have been accepted in the first place.

Hm? Multiclass? How do you know that?

It's not multiclass. What I'm saying is, when I saw this crazy price (120 keys for a GE l'homme, wtf?) I thought that all of a sudden this hat became a multi class, like it happened for the HWNN, the toy soldier, and many others, which led to price raises for every effect. But no, it's not multiclass, and 120 keys is compeltely messed up.

My english is on lower level than i thought :_:

When I accepted it, I couldn't find any other sales. I could've sworn there was only one copy on the everything search or something, but oh well, c'est la vie :P

The point is, even if, let's say, it was the only sale, I don't know why one would accept it anyway. An outlier is normally defined compared to other comparable sales, but I'm sure an outlier can also be defined based on common sense and trading experience, experience that you sure as hell have. :)

just remember, the only accountability for shitty pricing is convincing other people to STOP USING THIS SITE to price hats

It's not about stopping to use this site. (why are you here if you do, by the way :P )

It's about being critical about it. This website is an amazing source of information. But, as any source of information in life, you have to actually think thoroughly about it, and not follow it blindly. This price being the perfect example. I can't help thinking about a poor guy thinking he has to pay 120 keys for this mid tier, and actually does.

I didn't think i had to, I offered that price because I wanted his hat. When you seek out people with hats they actually want to keep sometimes it takes some persuasion to actually get the items that you want.

you are not listening to what I am saying

the only reason I am here is 9/10 noobs will come look here. it is very valuable to know what someone thinks. It allows negotiation from a position of power.

If 9/10 noobs thought this site was a joke full of prices that are wrong (or even bothered to think before using the price listed here), then no one would be here.

So you're saying you want the price to stay high so owners of this unusual can take advantage of said "9/10 noobs" for their own gain?

I think you're looking at this a bit too specifically.

I'm saying that 9/10 noobs blindly follow this site. And that is what empowers the site.

If noobs don't believe the site, traders have little reason to bother caring about it.

This one won't stay at 120, but there are plenty of other suggestions with prices just as hilariously wrong that still exist.

I don't particularly care if its accurate or not, I'm just saying that I'm only here cause noobs trust this as an absolute and that information can easily be exploited for personal gain. (and it is. regularly.)

Exactly, there are mostly 40-50 key sales and if this should be re-suggested much lower than 120 if this doesn't go through. (i flipped out when I saw the new price)

Well, 120 does indeed look high.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27659840 ----- It was unsold at 50 for 3 weeks before selling for the Crown.

http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198067172786?time=1454140800&compare=1454313600 ----- Apparent bulk sale for Ooze Bandana (Burglerre should be less than 60).

                    http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27783415 ---- B/O of 80 keys

I get that my purchase was an outlier but you cant formulate a fair price without including it at all.

45 is still low I think, that falls around the price of searing and whatnot. I'd wait for a 3rd sale to resuggest and determine an outlier

Why do you use Searing as an example of why this is high? That's inflated too ;p

Still. It looks low compared to the other effects. Looks like an outlier.

Now the real question is, who is the kiddo who rage-downvoted every single comment on this page.

Inb4 dislike because the comment isn't valid to the immediate issue :')

lets use an outlier to reprice a 2day old price!
