Unsold at 300 for 1 month

However, people have said that the seller is very inactive.

Erik has also added him and he basically said that he doesn't give a sh** about his hat. Combined with the fact that he rejected multiple adds and trade offers, I don't think that trade should be considered as valid.

Your inventory value is too low to comment on this suggestion..

Your tf2op link does not work. Unsold more than 3 months not just 1. How can you tell that the user is inactive? Maybe you should provide some proofs.

btw erik's b/o was 450 keys @ bp.tf classfied listings. nice price manuplation

Erik bought the hat. And that wasn't even his sale. His sale was the case maker.

Can you please explain the price manipulation part?

at this rate, the one at scrap.tf will never get sold

        It is duped ;-;

          yeah i saw that

Did you check the sale I commented?

My sale? With the PE Casemaker?

Yes, just thought it should be mentioned ^^

Probably better on the casemaker tho, didn't check for other sales.

Best to use for the casemaker I think.

Well to be honest the Casemaker is probably a tad overpriced so it wouldn't be fair to use it here anyways. The seller added 140 + 65 + 20 in unusuals/pure. Casemaker was unsold at scrap.tf for 300 for a long while, so the Executioner would end up at like 80 keys lol.

I wouldnt say you should just ignore the seller altogether, that seems a bit weird. He may not be the most active seller and he may have received offers at or over his BO, but he's been there for 3 months.

The unused "bulk" sale in that suggestion isnt that bulky, and is definitely lower than this, but rather supports 300. If anything, this needs a wide range in my opinion. (casemaker sale also doesnt help your cause here)

I will leave this up. We can wait for erik to sell it and/or someone to confirm that the seller shouldn't be in the range.

well seeing how people are suggesting using the casemaker sale to reprice the casemaker.. that'd mean youre saying the PE casemaker should be ~650.. :P

The way I see it, there is a seller at 300, a sale around 300, the casemaker sale and this warmer sale. 485 flat will definitely be too high. If anything, the other suggestion's value is probably closer to realistic than this is. Maybe this is an indication the warmer is on the high side

I understand that I might not have the most neutral opinion on this, since I'd lose 140 keys if the other suggestion passes. However, the Casemaker is overpriced and if this sale is being used on the Casemaker, the Casemaker would be nearly 700 keys. However, if you use the sale on the Exe it'd be below 100. Realistically the Casemaker is 300 (due to unsold 270 on scrap.tf) minus the 200+ keys in taunts and sweets that were added it would end up at 70-100 keys. So the Casemaker sale is invalid on either side.

If it were up to me I'd wait until I sell mine and leave both suggestions open. Although the 300 key suggestion based on an inactive seller who doesn't care a lot. I usually don't like dropping hats based on sellers or b/o's but rather on actual sales. And so far, the only sale is 485.

No, the other suggestion has a sale that would be around 300 350. It is poorly labeled and the prices linked to it seem to come from nowhere

                    https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198073872845#!/compare/1481932800/1485820800

sold with the RPS (~53) for the MG law (~320) + cyclone RPS (outdated, sellers @45-50) and c9 fuka (outdated, sellers at 25). Coincidentally, his values on the rps and fuka are okay, but the law is shown with a lowered value for no apparent reason. Either way, that sale's going to be around 350.

Additionally, the casemaker sale not being directly usable does not mean the sale did not happen. Bear in mind that despite the fact that hats may be outdated, people still use bptf as a reference in order to establish offer ballparks for themselves. While these values may not hold any significance in suggestions directly, it can be an indication as to why certain sales look low, high, or - in this case - about right. For example, when a hat is being updated to drop from 100 to 50, you sometimes see other suggestions where something currently priced around 100 sold for that hat, whereas it has other sales that back up 100. 50 is then an obvious outlier, that can be explained by the outdated bptf price.

The person you got the executioner from obviously didnt value the case at 300 or exe at 100, nor did he value it at 480. At current prices, that sale would back up 300 by approximation.

Even if we do not take that into consideration, we can go back to outlier reasoning here: we have a 3+ month seller at 300 (he may not be the most active, but he has been there for more than 3 months, and no one paid him 300 pure keys in that time, so if anyone wanted this hat, all he'd need is 300 keys. Again, bear in mind backpack.tf aims to reflect pure values), and sales at (according to your value approximation) ~100, ~350 and ~485. Cutting off the low and high ends there seems pretty reasonable, especially looking at the kind of hats they sold for:

                    - The low sale is a sale made on an "overpriced hat", that - at current - would support 300.

                    - The high end sale is based on an unpriced, new item with a suggestion based on 1 sale. Who is to say that hat does not need a larger range?

Since both sales have indications that they may not reflect a proper value for this hat, I would most certainly not use just one of these sales. Similar reasoning may say to only use the case sale, as all others should be cut off by the unsold, to which I definitely do not agree, by the way, but nor do I agree with this proposed price.

Okay, duped or not.. it's a themed godtier all class and easily worth 600++

Since when did bp.tf start using non-sales.

This seems to be more of what I stated in another suggestion..

              "The longstanding trend/business as-usual here.

              Make a quicksale suggestion--quickly.

Bandwagon drops price on a hat.

Someone sharks some noobs hat because they think this is legit.

Re-suggest said hat for an obvious overpay.

              Bandwagon chimes in with "Congrats!!"

              Suggestion approved.

              Rinse/repeat."

Only now you could replace "quicksale" with "non-sale"

Nonsales are fucking ridiculous to try to base "worth" off of.
