40 is 35% of 62 so it would count as a quicksell which you cant use to price hats, wouldnt use those sells

Other things need to be taken into a count.

You can't just say "X is Y% less than the current outdated price so it's a QS."

but if its at such a quicksell, it shouldnt be used, and if there are other sales other than the QS then it should be priced using those sales

I'm just saying it's not as easy as that, other factors need to be taken into a count; did they try to sell it for 45 for a month and ended up selling it for 40 etc...

The sale I linked above took over a week with my 40 key buyout. Bodomi is right, it's about how long it takes to sell.

Outliers are defined by deviation from the mean, not time it takes to sell. If sales are 40, 40, 40, 45. It doesn't really matter how fast they sold or what label they had. Range would be 40-45.
